The sheer narrative irony is a form of influence. Bakugo's lifelong goal is to surpass All Might, the man he sees as the absolute peak. Unbeknownst to him, the person he views as beneath him is the one All Might chose to carry his legacy. All Might's influence, through his choice, has fundamentally altered the playing field between the two boys. Every interaction is now layered with this dramatic irony that the reader knows but Bakugo doesn't. All Might's decision is the invisible hand reshaping their entire rivalry, making every clash in volume two resonate with future significance.

Ultimately, in volume two, All Might's influence is the framework. He's the steel girders upon which Izuku is trying to build his own hero identity. Right now, the framework is all you see—the outline is pure All Might. The walls, the paint, the personal touches—that's for later. Volume two is about Izuku learning to even stand inside that massive, imposing framework without it collapsing on him. The influence is structural, overwhelming, and absolutely necessary, but it's not the finished building. It's the promise of what could be built, and the terrifying, exhilarating first steps of construction.

Man, the physical comedy in those early volumes does so much heavy lifting. All Might's exaggerated muscular form, the way he appears in a burst of smoke, even his booming laugh—Izuku unconsciously starts mimicking the laugh when he's nervous or trying to psych himself up. It's a subtle visual influence the manga captures perfectly. All Might’s entire 'brand' of heroism, the showmanship and the confident smile, becomes a mask Izuku tries on, often clumsily. In volume two, you see him forcing that smile during the battle trial, trying to project an All Might-like assurance he doesn't feel. The influence is as much about performance and public image as it is about strength. He’s learning that being a symbol requires managing perception, not just throwing punches.

"I told you, didn't I? I instructed you, Jane. I clearly warned you not to even go towards that area but you had to be adamant..." Allen fumed.
"I was just being curious about..."
"And do you love the result of your curiosity now?!" He shouted at her and she hid her face away.
"I...I am sorry." She apologized meekly. She didn't expect it to end up this way.
"I am very disappointed in you." He replied and walked away.

Things took a three-sixty-degree turn for Jane and Alex after she decided to do what she wanted. However, her return from the strange land exposed her secret that she wasn't even aware of and opened the human world to more danger which was unexpected.
Different emotions sprung up from different individuals but regardless of their feelings, they needed to find the key to shutting THAT world but it required one thing - a soul.
Between Jane and Alex, who would it be? Will love allow fate or will it go against fate to have it rewritten? Don't miss out on this interesting story. There are a lot of twists that will make you smile, laugh, and even gasp. Don't let's forget about the humor too. (✷‿✷)

"Agh, why are you so cruel to me? Why do you, these mighty beings, want to take them away from me? What have they done wrong? I, Xiao Chen, cannot accept any of this—I refuse! Whoever you are—god, demon, or even if you are Heaven itself—I, Xiao Chen, will forge my own path. I will destroy all of you who take everything from me!"
The roar of anger from deep within Xiao Chen’s heart revealed his hatred for Heaven’s path and Heaven’s will; walking a different path from the rest, Xiao Chen strove once again to protect the people he loved. He strives not to lose a single person currently by his side; even if he must fight against Heaven itself, defy fate, or even confront all the supreme gods, Xiao Chen will still walk his own path. To avenge himself against Heaven’s will, to destroy the path of Heaven, and to become the supreme being controlled by no one. The path of defying heaven will be extremely arduous, far more so than the path to immortality and becoming a god. For those who constantly defy the will of heaven never end well.
Xiao Chen’s journey will continue. Will Xiao Chen become a being uncontrolled by anything? Or will Xiao Chen instead become a being controlled by the will of heaven, just like the others?

“Hazel!”
He called her loudly, his roar was full of desperate emotions but he was scared. He was afraid of never seeing again but the fate was cruel. She left. Loving someone perhaps was not written in that innocent soul’s fate. Because she was bound to be tainted by many.
The merchandising! No, seriously. Deku grew up surrounded by All Might merch, analyzing his moves from TV clips and action figures. His fandom was a form of pre-training. When they meet, Deku's encyclopedic knowledge of All Might's career becomes a tool. All Might shaped his path long before they met, through media and culture. Deku was a student of the Symbol of Peace before he ever became the student of Toshinori Yagi.
This unique starting point—a fan becoming the successor—means Deku's devotion is rooted in years of study, not just sudden gratitude. His path is the ultimate fanfiction come to life, with all the idealized pressure that entails.
Wait, I'm drawing a blank on specific volume 2 training sequences. Wasn't the entrance exam and the first battle trial in volume 3? My memory's fuzzy on the exact chapter breaks. I feel like the early stuff blurs together a bit.
