Heard the original Thai novels had extra scenes missing from the Thai BL series. Has any publisher officially released an English version I could buy for my collection?

I don't think there's an official English translation of the 'TharnType' novels available for purchase yet. Fan translations are still the main way to read it in English. On a related note, if you're looking for another M/M romance with a high-stakes, obsessive dynamic, you might check out 'Reborn as the villain's obsession [MM romance]'. The whole premise revolves around a character being reborn into a story only to find the central villain is inexplicably fixated on him, which creates a really intense push-and-pull from the very first chapter.

I’ve looked everywhere for an official English version of 'TharnType,' but it doesn’t seem to exist. The Thai publisher hasn’t released one, which is disappointing because the novel’s intense emotional scenes and deeper character backstories are incredible. Fan translations are the only option right now, and while some are decent, they lack the consistency of a professional translation.

I’ve spent a lot of time researching this because I’m obsessed with BL novels, and 'TharnType' is one of my favorites. Sadly, there’s no official English translation available at the moment. The original Thai novel was published by Meb, and they haven’t announced any plans for an English release. This is a shame because the novel adds so much nuance to Type and Tharn’s relationship that the series couldn’t fully explore.
Fan translations do exist, and some are quite well done, but they’re scattered across various sites and forums. If you’re desperate to read it, I recommend checking platforms like Wattpad or Tumblr, where fans sometimes share their work. Just keep in mind that these aren’t authorized, so the quality can be hit or miss. I really hope an official translation comes out eventually—it would be a dream come true for international fans.

The pricing is pretty standard for licensed ebooks, usually around the $6-$9 USD mark per volume. Compared to the hours of entertainment and the cost of, say, a manga volume, it's reasonable. More importantly, paying that fee is a direct vote with your wallet. It tells the publishers and the author that there is a viable international market for these stories. If we want more Thai BL novels to be officially translated—not just Mame's, but other authors' works—then buying the official versions of the big hits like 'TharnType' is the most effective way to make that happen. Pirating it now, when a legitimate option exists, only hurts the chances of other stories getting the same treatment.
