Ich fand es spannend zu sehen, wie die Serie Szenen aus dem Buch komprimiert und teilweise umstellt, damit das Tempo für Fernsehschauen funktioniert. Manche Nebenstränge werden früher eingeführt, andere werden gestrafft oder leicht verändert, aber die zentralen Beats aus 'Drums of Autumn' — Neuanfang in der Neuen Welt, politische Spannungen, und das Aufbauen einer Heimstätte — bleiben erhalten.
