Robbie Garvie and Samantha (Sam) Laplow have always been best friends until Sam returns home from her study abroad program engaged. "What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Wolf. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Ruby, Scarlett, Sam and Wolf were all childhood best friends. As close as they could be. Ruby moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Scarlett stuck by Ruby. Ruby survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making her new best friend Cassy her sister. Wolf was broken when Ruby left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad and ran the local MC and truly loved the lifestyle. Sam felt hollow since Ruby left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Ruby and Cassy became best friends while their mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Ruby changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Ruby and Cassy have to move back to Rose Hills with their mothers. "We'll make a prenuptial agreement," Luna declared. "Do you think I'll agree?" Lucas responded dismissively. "You have to agree. Whether you like it or not, we're going to make a prenuptial agreement," Luna insisted, prompting a threatening smile from Lucas. "Luna Estrada, you're too confident. Do you think I'd agree to this marriage? I even declined it," Lucas replied, belittling her. "We're not going to make a prenuptial agreement because we're never going to get married," Lucas added, causing Luna to clench her fists as if she had been rejected by the man before her. How could Luna Estrada face rejection? She couldn't allow it to happen. "Hahahahah." Luna forced a laugh, attempting to make it sound mocking to Lucas, although at this moment, she wished she could throw her heel at Lucas's head. "Then why did your grandfather force my grandfather to persuade me to accept this marriage, huh?" Luna said with traces of laughter in her voice, emphasizing each word. "Are you serious?" Lucas asked, his face showing mockery. "Didn't you ask your grandfather who would marry you? Weren't you suspicious? Who knows, maybe your grandfather was referring to my own grandfather, trying to match us," Luna's inner thoughts raced, attempting to calm herself.

My husband was the leader of the rescue team. As I was trapped in a cave and surrounded by a pack of wolves, I desperately called him over and over. Yet, he hung up on me every single time.
