Are There Any Sequels Or Spin-Offs To The Krull Book?
I read the 1983 Krull novelization by Alan Dean Foster and loved that blend of fantasy and sci-fi. Hoping for more tales in that same universe, maybe even exploring the princess's backstory.

There are no direct sequels or spin-offs to the 'Krull' series. While researching other connected stories I came across the web novel 'The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3'. Although this is a part of a completely different series, The Gladiator Wolf King is a great example of how to continue a story in a web novel, The third book of The Gladiator Wolf King continues the story of a cursed warrior-king as he tries to survive deadly politicking, and in this book the central rebellion plot really starts to escalate. The way that some web serials can expand upon a world over multiple installments of a series is really impressive.

There aren’t any sequels or direct novels to ‘Krull’; however, in following the original movie the Krull franchise branched out with action figures and even a board game. Also interesting, there was a novelization of the film. The novel would be a retelling of the story and not a continuation.
I know of one novelization for Krull. Most of the fantasy novels of the 80s have a similar feel to Krull. (Such as The Sword and the Sorcerer). Most of these are stand alone novels, but if you are craving more of the same then I recommend checking out some of the old pulp fantasy novels. Such as The Chronicles of Amber or the Elric series by Michael Moorcock. These novels have lots of swordplay and lots of magical activity and they have a truly cosmic feel to them.

If you’re interested in reading more in this vein, then perhaps the novels for The Dark Crystal or even the He-Man tie-in books may have the epic, cheesy quality that so defined Krull.

After scouring the web, it seems that there is no official sequel or novel that is a continuation of the original book. However, the 1983 film ‘Krull’ spawned a range of expanded universe material including comic books and role-playing game supplements that explore the newly opened-up mythos in greater detail and include new characters and stories set in new corners of the Krull world. Although none of these are direct sequels, they provide plenty of additional stories for fans looking for more. A favorite of mine are the Dark Horse Comics, written in the early 2000s, which introduced some really interesting twists to the mythology.

I have no idea. I found this thread because someone mentioned Krull. From memory there was a movie with a throwing weapon and this looked cool. I had no idea there was a book. I shall have to read the rest of these comments to find out.

I haven’t come across any information confirming any spin-offs or sequels to ‘Gone’ from official sources, but I know there are plenty of fan-created projects (one-shot stories), etc. from the creators and other writers of other books by the same publisher too.
For updates on any announcements of new projects based on ‘Gone’, be sure to follow the creators and the publisher on social media, sign up to their newsletters and look for news on reputable entertainment news sites and manga and book publisher blogs. Sadly, no sequels were written for “The Shadow Riders”. But if you want to keep reading more by L’Amour, his bibliography is so vast that you could get lost in it for years. For another lone rider story, consider “Kilkenny”. For a coming-of-age story with plenty of action, consider “Reilly’s Luck”. The fact that there are no sequels to “The Shadow Riders” is what keeps it a special gem that one would not trade for anything, even another well-worn saddle.

Check the copyright page and the retailer’s official listing for this book. Typically, on online retailer websites, Fiction / Fantasy / Standalone books are listed that way. It is usually listed as Book 1 of a series, or other language that is intended to drive sales of additional books. The absence of such language on the listings for this book tells you that the author and publisher knew it was a standalone from the very beginning.
Guardians of the Galaxy chronological order with spin-offs?

I watched all of the Guardian movies in a row and it was really cool. To watch all of the movies in a row for a strict watch order, I would watch Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3, followed by the Holiday Special and then I Am Groot. The crossovers (Infinity War and Love and Thunder) are really fun but sort of get confusing for new viewers. What makes the Guardians so special is the chemistry between all of the characters, and every movie feels like a wild adventure through space with all of your favorite people. The spin-offs are just little sprinkles on top of an already really delicious sundae.
Are there any High School DxD spin-offs or adaptations?

There is no equivalent for a ‘Boruto’ to ‘Naruto’ scenario in Highschool DxD. A next-generation sequel is not necessary because, in the end, Issei and his friends achieved their dreams. Creating a story around their children would probably feel like the author is trying to milk the series for more money. Instead, making a prequel such as ‘Slash/Dog’ to further explain the backstory is much wiser. It expands on the series without ruining the ending of the original story. There are some stories that are better left as a complete arc, and they don’t need a next-generation spin-off. The current adaptations and side stories already form a complete package around the core of the story.
Is 'The Never King' part of a book series?

This was kind of overhyped for me. It was just okay. A spicy read that would have been perfectly fine as a standalone novel. Instead we get a series of follow-up novels where the same dynamics play out with different characters. It’s kind of like a limited series that for some reason gets picked up for more seasons than it needs. If you really enjoyed The Never King, then just stop there. More of a good thing is not necessarily better.

No. ‘Mort’ is a single work. However, Mort and Death both appear in ‘Reaper Man’ which explores Death in greater depth than ‘Mort’. Although ‘Reaper Man’ is not a direct sequel to ‘Mort’, it does return to the same world and characters, and hence is recommended to fans of ‘Mort’ for more Pratchett wit and insight.

No. I'm good with that. The movie exists and is fun to watch. So, there is no need for the movie to be expanded. Not every story needs to be developed into a long, sprawling film. The need for more in our culture is exhausting. Let this fun and simple comedy be what it is: a short and sweet film that is a complete package in and of itself.
It is a complete film, in the sense that you get to see it, laugh at it, and feel good about it. And sometimes that is enough. You don’t need to be sat down and forced to think about other films in order to get the most out of it. It is a cinematic snack. Most people go to the cinema to see films as ‘snacks’ rather than as seven-course meals. You don’t need a sequel to your bag of chips.
