A Long Way From Chicago

Cyril is a sophomore student who is just like any other teenager. Just recently before their freshmen year ended, he had admitted a secret to his clubmates, thus making him the bullies' target. This resulted in him losing his friends and be left with one true friend, Hera. Everything seemed chaotic already until they became classmates with a supposed to be senior student named, Kode. The older guy, on the other, is a loner. He has repeated the year level for 2 years already because he doesn't want to attend school anymore, but his parents force him to. However, after a long drive home from the prom party at the end of the school year all of their lives completely changed, though, they were unsure if the change was for better or worse.

"It's fine. Just forget it." Maxwell, I owe you nothing after this.

I have a premature rupture of the membrane when I'm 38 weeks pregnant. I have no choice but to undergo an emergency C-section. To my surprise and dismay, the anesthesiologist is my ex-boyfriend, with whom I broke up eight months ago. God, save me! Could I please have another anesthesiologist? It's my ex-boyfriend's child I'm giving birth to, and I suddenly don't want to bring the child into the world anymore!

Everyone in the city knows Nathan Cooper only agreed to marry me because he had no choice. As Nathan stands by my bedside, he says he will marry me, but only if he can hold a wedding ceremony with Lily. Then, he announces the wedding date. I lean against his bitter enemy, Luke Patton, and look at Nathan in confusion. "Sorry, who are you?"

When our marriage contract expired, I found out I was pregnant. Charlie Newman’s voice was icy. "If it’s a boy, we’re even." I asked quietly, "And if it’s a girl?" He paused–then said coldly, "Then we keep trying until you give me a son." I sighed. Three years of marriage couldn’t compete with the need for an heir. However, one night, when I went downstairs for water, I saw him kneeling in the attic, eyes devout, voice trembling. "Merciful God, please grant me a daughter. If you hear my prayer and make my wish come true, I will give generously to your church and serve you faithfully all my life."
