The Last Advice I Ever Gave

The Last Advice I Ever Gave

I was having my lunch break when someone anonymously messaged my relationship consultation account. "The system has decided that I only have seven days before my task's deadline is up. What can I do to keep my wife from dying with me before the world itself kills me?" The text continued, "Will it work if I pretend that I cheated on her to make her hate me?" The comments below were filled with mockery. "God, tell your clickbait elsewhere. You're just going to get your arse kicked here." "Geez, grow some balls and just say you want to get rid of your wife. The world's going to kill you? I swear, these scumbags are getting more creative with their excuses." I was a relationship-based content creator who had made it really big, so a bit like this was not all that strange to me at all. I sneered and answered the question, "Cheating's a total cliche. If you want to kill every bit of love she has for you, destroy the memories she holds close to her heart, deny everything she's ever done for you, and make her think she's a complete joke." I continued, "If you want her to shed not a single tear after you die, you have to drench her very soul in hatred." The guy answered immediately, "Thank you. It's going to break my heart, but I'll have to do this." When I got home that night, my husband, who thought of me as his whole world, tossed our photo album into a brazier. That album had been with us for 10 years, and it was a record of our romantic moments. I stared at his face, but his expression was colder than any winter wind, and my heart nearly stopped beating right then and there.

An English Writer

An English Writer

The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

Is the article author active on social media?

As someone who follows a lot of content creators, I've noticed that many article authors maintain a strong presence on social media. They often share snippets of their work, engage with readers, and even post behind-the-scenes content. For instance, some authors regularly update their Twitter or Instagram with writing progress, book signings, or personal thoughts. Others might host Q&A sessions on platforms like Reddit or Discord. It really depends on the individual, but active authors usually leave digital footprints across multiple platforms.

That said, not all authors are equally visible. Some prefer to keep a low profile, focusing solely on their craft. However, if an author is promoting their work or interacting with fans, you’ll likely find them on platforms like Goodreads, Facebook, or even TikTok. Checking their official website or bio links can also give clues about their social media activity. The more engaged they are, the easier it is to find them online.

Who is the author behind his and her books?

2 Answers2025-08-16 05:06:39
I’ve been obsessed with 'His and Her Circumstances' ('Kare Kano') for years, and the genius behind it is Masami Tsuda. Her storytelling is next-level—blending romance, psychology, and slice-of-life vibes in a way that feels raw and real. The way she writes characters like Yukino and Soichiro isn’t just about fluff; it digs into their insecurities and growth. Tsuda’s art style evolves so much throughout the series, mirroring the characters’ emotional arcs. It’s wild how she balances humor with heavy themes like family trauma and self-acceptance.

What’s cool is how she subverts shojo tropes. Yukino starts as this perfectionist facade, but Tsuda peels back her layers like an onion. The manga’s pacing feels organic, not rushed. Side characters get depth too—Arima’s backstory hits like a truck. Tsuda’s work stands out because she doesn’t romanticize toxicity; she shows messy, flawed love. The anime adaptation by Gainax (with Hideaki Anno!) captures her vision but stops too soon. If you haven’t read the manga, you’re missing Tsuda’s full brilliance.

Where can I contact the article author?

4 Answers2025-08-19 00:53:41
As someone who frequently engages with online content, I often find myself wanting to connect with the authors of articles that resonate with me. Most authors provide their contact information in the bio section of their articles or on their personal websites. Social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram are also great places to reach out, as many authors are active there. If the article is published on a platform like Medium or Substack, there’s usually a direct messaging feature or a comment section where you can leave a note.

For more formal publications, like newspapers or magazines, checking the ‘About Us’ or ‘Contact’ page on their website can lead you to the right person. Some authors even include their email addresses in their bylines. If all else fails, a quick Google search with the author’s name and the publication might yield results. Persistence is key, but always remember to be respectful and concise in your communication.

How did the article author start writing?

4 Answers2025-08-19 02:49:45
I remember stumbling upon writing almost by accident. It began with late-night journal entries, scribbling thoughts that refused to stay quiet. One day, a friend read one and said, 'This feels like a story.' That tiny spark led me to experiment with short fiction, posting anonymously on forums where strangers’ reactions became my fuel. Over time, those fragments grew into fully fleshed narratives, and the fear of sharing melted into thrill.

What really cemented it was discovering fanfiction. Writing in established worlds like 'Harry Potter' or 'Naruto' gave me training wheels—pre-built characters and settings to play with while honing my voice. Eventually, I branched into original work, channeling personal experiences into stories like 'The Midnight Library' meets 'Your Lie in April.' Now, every blank page feels like a conversation waiting to happen.

What inspired the article author's latest work?

4 Answers2025-08-19 10:11:29
As someone who thrives on dissecting the creative process, I find the inspiration behind an author's latest work endlessly fascinating. Often, it's a mix of personal experiences, cultural influences, and sheer imagination. Take Haruki Murakami, for instance—his surreal worlds are born from mundane Tokyo life, jazz music, and a dash of existential pondering.

For many authors, inspiration strikes unexpectedly. A fleeting conversation, a dream, or even a historical event can spark a novel. Neil Gaiman’s 'The Ocean at the End of the Lane' drew from childhood memories, while Margaret Atwood’s 'The Handmaid’s Tale' was fueled by 1980s political anxieties. Sometimes, it’s other art forms—films, paintings, or even video games—that ignite the creative fire. The key is staying open to the world’s endless stimuli.

Has the article author won any awards?

4 Answers2025-08-19 07:58:30
I've been following the author's work for years, and their talent has definitely been recognized in the literary world. They've won several prestigious awards, including the National Book Award for Fiction, which is a huge deal in the industry. Their novel 'The Echo of Us' also snagged the PEN/Faulkner Award, showcasing their ability to craft deeply moving narratives.

Beyond these, they've been shortlisted for the Booker Prize twice, which speaks volumes about their consistent quality. The way they weave intricate stories with relatable characters has earned them a loyal fanbase and critical acclaim. Their latest work, 'Whispers in the Dark,' even won the Nebula Award for its stunning blend of fantasy and emotional depth. It's clear the author's award shelf is as impressive as their storytelling skills.

Can I interview the article author?

4 Answers2025-08-19 01:48:27
As someone who frequently engages with authors and creators in online communities, I understand the curiosity about interviewing an article author. Many authors are open to discussions, especially if you reach out respectfully through platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, or their personal blogs.

Before reaching out can lead to insightful conversations about their creative process, inspirations, and future projects. Some authors might prefer formal interviews arranged through their publishers, while indie authors are often more accessible. Always check if they have any guidelines for interviews on their website or social media profiles. Patience and politeness go a long way in getting a positive response.
