Suzanne O'Izzy is a klutzy kind of girl who always wanted to be a hero. Due to the fact that the city she lived in, Herotapolis, had an organization named Hero league that trained heroes, her dream could easily be fulfilled. But when the time for her to take the entrance exam came, Hero league were in battle with villains known as the rogue heroes hence her and the other students in her school who applied were given scholarships to train at Superhero high.Suzanne gets recruited in Squad 10 and finds out that before she can save the world doing heroic deeds she must first be skillful at things and get along with her teammates. It really didn't help matters when the three boys also assigned as her teammates never saw eye to eye on things.Plus E-rank exam was nearing. They had to learn how to get along to move a step up in the hero world. Amidst all quarrels and difficulties, Squad 10 managed to scrape through and enter E-ranks, finally they could start going on missions.Another teammate, a medical corp, was assigned to them. Every Squad in E-rank had one.It was then Suzanne knew her hero life had just begun.

When I returned to the Costello family as the long-lost daughter, I was dressed in my adoptive sister's hand-me-downs, and the family driver came only for her. Still, they felt guilty toward the daughter they had raised in my absence. So when the government rolled out the Fairness System, they registered the whole family before I could blink. My father exhaled with relief. "With this system enforcing absolute equality, Brittany won't ever have to suffer again." My mother took my hand, her voice leaving no room for argument. "You came home and stole everything that belonged to her. That's not fair to Brittany." My brother didn't bother hiding his contempt. "I only acknowledge one sister. You already got more than you deserve. Don't push your luck." I ate leftovers while she had private chefs. I sweated in a closet while she slept in a custom-designed suite. I almost laughed. When the system went live, they were the ones who fell apart.

At the height of my little menace era, I'm busy pinning Marlon Briggs to the ground and making him lick my shoes for stealing my milk. Just then, a dozen luxury cars roll up and completely block the entrance to the orphanage. A tycoon crouches down in front of me, his hand trembling with emotion as he reaches out to pat my head. "Sweetie, I'm sorry. I found you too late. You've suffered so much." A chubby girl with a runny nose from the next class shivers and mutters under her breath, "Suffered? Yesterday, he used a slingshot to make a bunch of troublemakers kneel on the ground and beg him for mercy…'" I take a sip from the nearly empty juice box in my hand, meanwhile calculating how many juice boxes I can buy if I pawn the watch on my new dad's wrist. At that moment, New Dad's assistant answers a phone call and immediately breaks out in a sweat. "Mr. Sterling, we have a problem. Ms. Sterling snuck out because she wanted to meet her brother. She somehow ended up with a fever and passed out. "And the new Mrs. Sterling wants to know when you're coming home. She says it doesn't matter if we can't find your son. She can always give you another one…" It's bad enough that I have a sister. But I have a stepmom too? I toss my empty juice box into a trash can 30 feet away with perfect accuracy, dust off my hands, and climb straight into the back seat of the limousine. "Drive. We're going home." It's not that I'm eager to reunite with my long-lost family. It's just that I can't stand people causing trouble on my turf.

The students of Darkson University are on a high school field trip to a camp called Ever Realms. While on vacation, I return to my hometown to help my parents harvest pears. After seeing my Instagram post, my son's homeroom teacher, Ernest Dugan, sends me a private message. "So you sell pears, Mr. Miller? The kindergarten hasn't finalized next month's fruit supplier yet, so we'll order from you. You won't suffer any loss from this deal. I'll pay five dollars per pound. You just need to arrange transportation and deliver them to the kindergarten." I almost laugh out loud. My family's pears are the famous Green Jewel variety; they are known as the "Hermes of pears". They sell for over 100 dollars per pound on average. Five dollars wouldn't even cover the cost of a single pear. Even though Ernest is being ridiculous, I still reply politely, "Sorry, all of our pears are reserved. You'll need to find another supplier." To my surprise, Ernest immediately posts photos of my family's pears in the parent group chat. He writes, "Next month's fruit selection for the kindergarten will be upgraded to Green Jewel pears. If anyone wishes to buy some for personal consumption, feel free to place orders below. The price is five dollars per pound." The chat group buzzes with activity as parents rush to place orders one after another. Three days later, they block the truck carrying my shipment to Windford. Determined to force the sale, they surround the vehicle and refuse to let it leave. Before they can ransack the truck, several military-plated vehicles arrive and seal off the road. A group of officials steps out with stern, angry expressions. One of them coldly demands, "These are pears specially ordered for this weekend's state banquet. Who said you could lay a finger on them?"
