Jules Verne is the obvious classic, but go read 'Paris in the Twentieth Century'. He wrote it in 1863 and it got so much right: gas-powered cars, skyscrapers, a global communication network, even something like electric chairs. His publisher thought it was too pessimistic and unbelievable. The fact it sat in a safe for over a century is a story in itself.
My personal favorite deep-cut is Ramez Naam's 'Nexus' trilogy. It's more recent, but it's a razor-sharp extrapolation of current neurotech. Brain-computer interfaces, uploaded consciousness, and the ensuing ethical wars. It feels less like prediction and more like a roadmap for the next 50 years, which is somehow more thrilling and terrifying.
