I'd be wary of any site offering the full book for free outside of a library loan. Those are almost always pirate sites, and they're often riddled with intrusive ads, malware, or poor formatting. The last thing you want is a pop-up virus while you're trying to get scared by Pennywise. The official samples from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or the publisher are clean, safe, and actually respect the author's work. It's not worth the risk to your device or your data just to save a few bucks on a sample.

Library Genesis and Z-Library are frequently mentioned, but those are pirate sites for full texts, not sanctioned samples. Using them is a legal and ethical risk. They also often have poor formatting, missing pages, or OCR errors. For a curated, high-quality sample that represents the actual published work, stick to official channels. The few minutes saved aren't worth supporting those ecosystems or potentially downloading a messed-up file.

Elliot Carter never loses.
Not to his father.
Not to anyone.
And definitely not to the infuriating 'golden' boy who suddenly moves into his house.
When Elliot’s father marries Asher Brooks’ mother, his already broken world cracks even more. Asher is everything he despises—calm, disciplined, admired by everyone at university. The kind of guy who smiles like he has nothing to prove.
From the moment they meet, it’s war.
Elliot thrives on pushing buttons. Asher refuses to be provoked. Their fights are sharp, personal, and relentless, until one night, anger turns physical… and something far more dangerous ignites between them.
A line is crossed that neither of them can uncross.
Asher refuses to feel guilty.
Elliot refuses to admit he wanted it.
Now they’re trapped under the same roof, and the more they try to hate each other, the more dangerous the attraction becomes.
Because this isn’t just rivalry.
It’s obsession.
And when control becomes the weapon of choice, someone is bound to break.
The only question is... Who will break first?
My father has chosen me to succeed him in the family business.
But if I want the job, it comes with stipulations. And one of those stipulations is to never mix business with pleasure. AKA, don't sleep with anyone on the job. My father leads by example, and not once have I ever seen him get involved with anyone, not even his beautiful assistant. That was an easy rule to follow...until Axel.
Axel is an expert distributor, someone who knows how to get our product past the ruthless regulations mandated by the government. My father has never had a partner, but he makes an exception for Axel because he's good at what he does.
But the second our eyes meet...there's fire. He's by far the most handsome man I've ever seen, and his I couldn't care less attitude makes me weak. But I put up boundaries and reject his advances.
But this man doesn't stop until he gets what he wants.
One night together becomes the precursor to the most passionate affair of my life. If my father discovers our secret, it'll cost me my career...and it'll cost Axel his life. To make matters worse, I'm falling for this man...and I think he's falling for me too.
Jane walked towards the forbidden building with a clenched fist. She looked scared at first but that didn't stop her curiosity about looking into the building she had been forbidden to reach.
She looked back to see if any of the men were around to know of her sudden disappearance but nobody seemed to know since the alarm bells hadn't rung.
She breathe out heavily and touched the door knob but before she could twist it open, her hand was yanked off it and she was pushed backward.
She looked up only to meet the face of one person she had been trying to avoid. Allen stared coldly at the woman in front of him and stepped forward like a lion trying to stalk its prey. Jane looked terrified and gulped down with uneasiness.
" What are you doing here? " Allen asked with his usual cold tone.
" I was...uhm...just... "
" Haven't I warned you not to step closer to this building huh? But it seems you are the stubborn pet. " Allen interrupted while continuing his walk towards her.
" No...no, I was just being curious, that's all. " Jane replied as her back hits the wall. Allen trapped her in between.
" Have you ever heard that curiosity kills the cat? " Allen smirked dangerously and Jane knew that she was in a long torture for the night.

Wait, are we talking about the Stephen King book or something else? The comments seem to assume it's King, but the question just says 'the book It'. Could be a different 'It', I guess. Not sure.
I look at it this way: Stephen King is my favorite author. Buying his books, even on sale, is my way of thanking him for decades of frights and fantastic characters. It feels like a direct transaction of gratitude.
Scrounging for a free copy of his magnum opus feels oddly cheap towards someone who's given me so much. Even if he's rich, the principle matters to me as a fan. I want my consumption to be part of the positive feedback loop, not outside it.
I totally get the curiosity about 'The JGOOT Way of Travel'—free samples are like little appetizers before the main course! From what I’ve gathered, the author’s website or platforms like Amazon often offer previews for e-books. Sometimes, signing up for newsletters gets you a free chapter as a welcome gift. I remember stumbling upon a similar travel book’s sample once, and it completely hooked me—ended up buying the full thing immediately. If you’re into unconventional travel philosophies, this might be your jam. Hope you find those chapters and catch the wanderlust bug!
Also, don’t forget to check out forums or Goodreads discussions; sometimes fans share snippets or insights. I love how indie authors often engage directly with readers, so a polite DM on social media might just score you a peek. Fingers crossed!
Finding 'It' by Stephen King for free online can be a bit tricky, but there are some legitimate ways to access it without breaking the bank. Public libraries often offer digital copies through apps like Libby or OverDrive, which you can borrow for free with a library card. Another option is to check out Project Gutenberg or Open Library, though they might not always have the latest editions. Sometimes, authors or publishers release free chapters or excerpts on their official websites or through promotional campaigns. Keep an eye out for those. Just remember, while it’s tempting to look for free versions, supporting authors by purchasing their work ensures they can keep creating the stories we love.
