His ice-blue eyes scanned the room and stopped when he spotted the man he’d come to see. Matt ‘King’ Kingston was walking over to him and despite Ice’s military background, and his decade as an Enforcer for the Road Devils, and his large frame, he was briefly intimidated by King, just as he always was. It was such a fleeting feeling that it passed within a single heartbeat, but still – Ice never forgot who he was dealing with. Even the voice had changed a bit. "Is she the one you spoke of?" The voice asked. It was coming from the throne high above on the platform. I couldn't see from who the voice was emanating, but I could certainly tell that whoever had that voice was sort of like the boss around here. "Yes my Lord" Cruella answered, "She is the one" "Step forward child" the voice said. It was so calm yet so authoritative. It didn't need to shout or yell. It was intimidating in and of itself.

He refused to make eye contact with the king. The King didn't mind and went ahead to serve each of them a glass of red drink. When he wanted to pour the content into the glass cup for Allen, the latter stopped him. "I don't drink blood, father. " "So you were not joking about it?" "Why would I?" Allen frowned. The King smiled and relaxed on his chair instead. He stared at the young man. "I can see that you are already getting used to the human world. I don't want to ask you what made you leave even though I am curious to know but I want to express my wish in wanting you to stay. I can offer much better than the human world." The King said.

I confirmed, feeling more tense than before. The voice suddenly turned icy cold. "The King is not available at the moment." I was taken aback by the sudden change in attitude. "Are you sure? I really need to speak with him." I pressed. "The King doesn't talk to the likes of you," she replied icily. I was shocked by her rudeness. Who was this bitch and why was she so rude when I didn’t even know her? Before I could respond, I heard a deep velvety voice in the background.

Hale wiggled his brows, and the others followed suit. “What?” I asked absentmindedly. “Some ass!” they cheered. “Keep it down, this is still a bar.” “Oh, come on. Is the princess cranky tonight?” my best friend, Ronny, said. “Whatever. Besides, I can get ass anytime I want. With a face like mine, it's easy to get any woman I want.” “You sure about that, Captain?” Gregor asked with a tilted brow. Of course I'm fucking sure. I've just been busy, that's all.
