Reid leaned on the table beside him, exhaling smoke as if he had all the time in the world. “She’s alive. And she’s not who either of us thought she was.” He flicked ash from the cigarette. “But I think you already knew that.” My silence answered for me. “She’s not just some woman hiding behind a new name. She’s a ghost with a government-issued badge and blood on her hands,” Reid said. “An agent. One of theirs.” My head snapped toward him. He gave a tight smile. “You know that part too , don't you?”

Agents had seen me, pistols were drawn, eyes getting narrow like only a predator could. “Sabrina,” the first agent said with a sneer, advancing, his gun leveled. “Tyler’s done with you. Either we do this quietly, or we do it here.” I stepped back with a shaky but defiant voice and raised hands. “I’m not your pawn anymore. Tell Tyler he’s finished.”

“Right now. He’s a smart man and it won’t take him long to cross-reference your face with the asset reports.” Carver casually walks over to the small plastic bin near the door, pulling a silver cigarette case from his pocket. He taps a cigarette against the metal, looking entirely unbothered by the near-miss. “David Reid is an aging dinosaur grasping at the embers of an empire that is already turning to ash. Let him look.” He leans down, his face inches from Eli’s, his breath smelling faintly of peppermint and expensive scotch. “Don’t forget who holds your leash, Arden,” he whispers.

I gritted out as pain spread through my chest as he squeezed me. "Right, I'm so sorry." He said as he pulled away quickly. "It's fine," I shrugged as I turned to Gary. "We still have a lot to talk about Gary," I informed him and he walked up to me till he was a hairsbreadth away. "Remember what I told you, help the girl regain her memories." He whispered into my ear and I nodded as my eyes met his. "Alright I wish you no more incidents on your trip back," he said as he patted my arm.

But as she met with the Dona’s eyes, she saw the redness and puffiness that the older woman tried to get rid of. “I would feel bad if I didn’t know that member of hers worked with the terrorists,” she said to herself. She instead offered her condolences, “I’m sorry for your loss, Dona. I can only imagine what you’re feeling right now.” Agatha gave a thin smile and replied with a small, “Thank you.” Now all Rein has to accomplish tonight is to establish a good impression with the madam.

Arnold loses his tie, removed his coat and then folded his shirt sleeves and said "Where the hell is he ?? " " Come with me, " Ethan said and started walking. Arnold followed him. Arnold went inside the room and laughed hilariously looking at the state of that bastard Reid. Reid is the person who worked with them for 7 years and for some money he sold his loyalty to someone else. Reid is looking in the room and his both hands are tied with rope. His eyes has become puffy red and blood is coming from his mouth. He has a lot of marks on his body and some men of Arnold are continuously beating him.
