Fictional Female Detectives Novels & Stories

The director Victor was of course waiting for the arrived of Carriewhite whereas the two detectives were still looking into their unrealistic case that was keeping their heads flagged. She kicked the door open and on the inside she led soaking wet. The two detectives snapped giving her gaze as she took of her rain coat hanging it up the hook. The detectives were eying her and watching how the coat was dripping its water down the clean floor. “Hello?” she greeted after realizing them staring at her. They had heard of a detective who was joining them late that month but didn’t know it was supposed to be a woman. “HELLO.” Responded Charlotte impressed by her looks. “How should we help you miss?

“I do want to be helpful, sir. “Mitsuhide began, “But I was blindsided about an hour ago with the news of this. I am sorry if I want her to stay doesn’t help you, but I need her to stay to help me focus.” “What is your name?” the detective asked her. He turned and looked over the small woman by the other man’s side. She also was one that was deceptive in her appearance. Her light hair was up, and she had on a pair of glasses that the detective wondered if she really needed. An attractive woman with no jewelry on her hand. “Dr. Kit Jones.” She replied and watched the detective write it down. “How are you a part of this?” he asked her. “I am a co-worker and a friend of Mitsuhide.” She replied.

"Just Aria." "Fair enough," the woman said. "I'm Detective Sarah Chen. I've been assigned to your case. And what a case it is. In the last six hours, you've managed to expose the largest criminal conspiracy in modern history. Governments are falling. CEOs are being arrested. Three wars have been quietly called off because the people funding them just got exposed." "I'm sorry," I said, though I wasn't sure what I was apologizing for. "Don't be," Detective Chen said, surprising me. "The world needed this. It's going to be messy, and it's going to be painful, but it needed to happen. However, that doesn't change the fact that you've committed numerous crimes yourself."

The detective opened a file and started asking questions. “You were caught with the child,” the detective said. “Who gave you the job?” The man didn’t answer right away. He leaned back in his chair and shrugged. “A woman,” he said finally. “She told us her name was Maya.” “Did you ever meet her face-to-face?” the detective asked, watching his reaction closely. “No,” the man replied. “She only called us. She never showed her face, not even once.” “What did she sound like?” “Her voice was fake. She used some kind of voice changer. It didn’t sound real—it was robotic. You couldn’t even tell if she was a woman or a man.”

“Oh, don't be surprised. I did not know who you were at first. But ever since I got alerted about someone trying to get information about Hustana company, I ended up seeing that that person was you, my dear detective” “How?”. I asked her, not buying her words. “I am a ghost. That was how I was able to track you and know who you were”. She said to me, and because of the serious look on her face, and the way she did not blink or bat an eye when she lied to me, I stupidly thought that she was serious about being a ghost. That was until she teasingly added, after giggling, “I am simply joking with you. I am a hacker”.

Dante stayed close, watching me with that look — the one that saw right through the armor I wore. “Tell me what you’re thinking,” he said quietly. I stopped and met his eyes. “She’s not just a ghost from Giordano’s past. She’s more. Someone with access, inside knowledge… and she’s testing me.” Dante nodded. “A chess player. We need to anticipate her moves.” “We can’t wait for her to strike first,” I said, voice sharp. “We have to find her before she finds us.” Leo pulled up a dossier on one of our known informants — a woman with ties to an underground network. “This girl moves fast. She’s connected to the docks and the black market. If anyone knows the truth, it’s her.”

Shawn’s POV We were all seated, waiting for Detective Imani to arrive. Now that the government of Fiji was fully aware of Aria’s illegal operations, we were finally granted an official investigation permit. But because of their national regulations, only a female detective could lead the interrogation of a female criminal. From the way the officers stood rigidly in a straight line, backs straight, chins up, and guns down, I already knew one thing: Whoever was about to walk in was a force.

Elena Winters met them at the entrance—a petite woman with close-cropped silver hair and keen eyes that immediately identified all three of them for what they were. "The Luna's Triad," she said, echoing Dr. Vasquez's greeting. "I never thought I'd see the prophecy fulfilled in my lifetime." "Just Detectives Blackwood and O'Connor," Casie corrected again, already tired of the title. "And our consultant, Mr. Thornwood. We're investigating a homicide." Elena's expression sobered immediately. "Nathaniel mentioned a young Fae girl. Please, come to my office where we can speak privately."

I just hoped this would not get back home to my father who didn’t even know where I was, unless Maran had told him. Two detectives entered the room; a man and a woman. I took a deep breath as I watched them take seats at the opposite side of the table. “Good afternoon, Miss Moonstone.” The female one said, making hand quotes when she mentioned the name. “I’m detective Fischer and this is my partner John Miller. We have reason to believe you gave us a fake name.” I wanted to face palm. Jade Moonstone, really? I was disappointed in myself for coming up with the fakest sounding name. Even a thirteen year old would not believe that was a real name.

Now, they both had their phone numbers saved. "Remember, you can't do the investigation alone, it's beyond your responsibility and it's dangerous." The woman standing in front of Nicholas gave a short snort as she snatched her phone back. "Now you're warning me and looking concerned." "I'm a detective, it's normal that I care." "Whatever." Alicia Perth, the new student who had just transferred to Golden High School was now caught up in a case of violence and accidental murder. Alicia is forced to follow the orders of a handsome, ambitious detective like Nicholas Gray. and this is where it all begins.
