BENEATH HER DARKNESS: The Alpha's Little Demon

BENEATH HER DARKNESS: The Alpha's Little Demon

They offered their souls to her. "What did you do to her?" Althea’s cry was piercing my heart as I stood up from the bed and gave her space to come to her grandmother. "Mama, wake up!" Althea was crying as she placed her hands over her wounded neck and began chanting spells, all the while tears trickled down her cheeks. My eyes locked with Stone, and he nodded his head. It was time to go before it was too late. In seconds, I had transported our bodies to the depths of hell.

Cassandra M, you are one of the best authors I have come across. All your novels have kept me glued from day 1. Both Part 1 and 2 of this novel got me wanting more and abandoning everything just to keep reading. Wow! it was such a wonderful experience and read. You deserve all the gems and accolades

2/2- I feel Adan's character got lost in the 2nd part and still have questions about Lucy's background. Also the ending was too vague, it's unfinished. But I did enjoy the extra story about Lucien. That guy is hilarious funny. Blade & Althea are interesting too and have good hopes for their book.

Alpha of Gods

Alpha of Gods

His face set like stone, revealing no emotion. “Well, yes and no. Keres, assist the Gods by fulfilling assignments, but we are better described as being female death spirits. We are present during death, and we stay with the dying, but do not have the power to kill.” “For what reason?” Ryder asked. “We were created to assist souls who must be taken to either the resting place, or to live with Hades. It all depends on the feelings we get when interacting with the souls.” Luca’s eyes grow wide, and he sucks in a deep breath.

Tidal Souls

Tidal Souls

And damn, they were beautiful as they swayed in the morning light. He pushed forward on a telepathic level to get past those defenses, reaching for Galene's distracted mind. Look up. Angel. Stop sketching. Stop singing. Please. See me and release me. Her spores reacted, darting at their prey, and Stralath braced himself for viperous contact.

SOUL BOUND

SOUL BOUND

Nate abruptly stopped reading, massaging his temples thinking that he was too mature to believe in such ridiculous tales; nevertheless he continued, hoping to find answers that could help shed some light on things he himself could not explain clearly. “It was said that all souls were set free to roam the earth on this holy night of the dead, returning to their eternal resting place at the crack of dawn, but a soul with a vengeance, a link or a chain bounding them to the land of the living may never find its way back into the gates of the afterlife…. Now what the hell does that mean? Are they saying a bunch of dead people usually wakes up on Peter Pak but if they have unfinished business they

Fated to More Than One

Fated to More Than One

Of course, they cannot answer me, and I laugh at myself for even talking aloud to plasmic blobs. I put them down, choosing just one to take over to the wolf's pool. It's a blackened soul destined to be mated with an alpha wolf. I place it down into the plasma that holds the wolfs, and whilst it busies itself searching for its chosen mate, I find a well-rounded and strong alpha. I pick that soul up and move it through the water to the human soul that is dancing around the blackest of all the alpha souls. A little dance that screams love and acceptance.

“Whatever-the-fuck. Anyway, I been watchin’ from here almost every night since then and he’s always gone real late on Wednesday nights. I’m goin’ in there and I’m bustin’ inta that stone chest . . . ” He reached behind him, unzipped his backpack and pulled out a short-handled, hand-held sledgehammer. He hefted it, like he was Thor and it was Mjölnir. “I’m bustin’ in there and gettin’ that box and I’m crushin’ all those tiles to fuckin’ powder. I dunno how I know it, but I do. Dad’s soul is trapped in them things, and I’m gonna let it out.”

Soulmate Rebellion

Soulmate Rebellion

There wasn’t a soul left alive on that cursed mountain when that sun traveled across the sky that next morning. I traveled from town to town and village to village in those following days, and I watched as soulmates turned into enemies from their bigotry and their hatred. The betrayal of one bond had single-handedly destroyed the bonds for countless other people. The world was torn apart by fighting in and among all clans. I, Mae Shamrock, last of The Sisters of the Path Coven, bore witness to the destruction of the soulmate bond as the Soulmate Covenant was broken in 1850. I knew without a doubt that it would not be returning… UNTIL the world changed its ways…

SOUL'LESS

SOUL'LESS

I had taken Audrey's hand and started running, it was funny how I thought we had escaped and suddenly she dropped down beside me. Time seemed to slow down as I watched blood seeping out of her head, I just stood there like my brain had gone on lockdown watching as she died. All I knew was that I was suddenly pulled into a car and later I found myself at the institution again but I still couldn't focus on anything apart from the fact that Audrey was dead just like I took people's lives, she was taken from me. -- "What do you think is wrong with her? She gets like this after a mission and it's getting worse".

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

In an instant, he was inside Two's Soul Scape. The Soul Scape was an immaterial Dimension inside one's self. Adding Ion Energy into it, allowed it to turn corporeal once the Cultivator reached the Correct Realm to do so. Better than carrying any pouches or sacks for that matter. But since it was connected to one's soul the destruction of the Soul would destroy all the items inside. It also required the nurturing of Ion Energy.
