I still had brown eyes, a little baby fat, and brown hair that was cropped to my shoulders. "Mark?" he inquired. I grabbed my hood's zipper and pulled it open, lowering my shirt's left collar to reveal my mark.My pack's markings was identical to those of the others: three claw slashes with a line running through the middle and two exact circles underneath. I zipped up the hood but left my collar unzipped. He briefly displayed blankness before giving the all-clear with a nod to the man in front of him.

We all went inside the pack house and went upstairs to Zack's office so we wouldn't be interrupted. "Mom, we need to ask you a question. We just noticed that our marks are colored and not black like everybody else's. Do you know what that means?" Zack asks. "Let me see your marks. So, your mark is silver, and her mark is turquoise. Well, that means that the Moon Goddess has something special in store for you." Gloria said. "What could she possibly have in store for us. I don't get it". Alexis said.

Lizzie!” I stammered out as she continued to look me over. We both laughed as she spun me around, looking at me.

The highest color of Mark was generally blue, unless they were a male. If my parents had loved me the way they loved Misty, I could have been the one chosen for Axel. It was funny now that I thought about it. Even though my mark was stolen, I still ended up being the one with Axel. It might be temporary, but the thought was too ironic.
