My Boyfriend’s Girlfriend

My Boyfriend’s Girlfriend

Danny Schwinn was a piece of shit. "I want you off this campus by Friday morning at 9am. And that includes all campus housing, as well." The dean announced. His statement was final. Danny hung his head, it was over. He'd royally fucked up. "Is that all then, Arnold?" The coach asked. "I have nothing else to say. Daniel, you're free to go." Danny nodded his head and quickly sat up from the chair. He was terrified of what his parents would say, and how he'd tell them. Could he even still go pro without playing in the NFL?

Bullied By The Alpha Triplets

Bullied By The Alpha Triplets

Darius simply nodded his head with out saying anything. Duke let out a sigh and rose to his feet. “I'm done. I'm going to talk a walk around time just for a few minutes for a patrol.” No one said anything, his mother had noticed more than anyone that things about him had changed ever since Anaya left their home. She watched him leave the table with a broken heart. DUKE'S POV I walked out of the house without looking back, all I wanted was to forget everything that had happened ever since Anaya got here. Why it affected me so much was such a mystery to me.

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

The Billionaire’s Contract Wife Can't Let Go

He takes one look at my face and his smile vanishes. "What's going on, Dana?" he asks, his eyes scanning my distress. I bite the inside of my cheek, fighting the desperate urge to look out the left window at the glass facade of HyPulse Galleries. "Did you know Jack quit the army?" I ask, my voice trembling slightly as I turn the key in the ignition. "Yeah. I knew." "Do you know why?" I ask Charles. "He quit for Lori and Cindy," he says. "He told me that himself yesterday. Why? What's wrong?"

Entanglement

Entanglement

“There’s a man, small, grey-haired who comes sometimes to fix the wine cellar thermometer. He hates Aaron. Says Aaron ruined his daughter’s wedding. Doesn’t sound like much, but he talks. People like him have loose tongues.” I pictured him: grey hair, hands that smelled of oil and vinegar, a man who said what he thought and then hid because he’d learned the hard price of speaking too loud. Even that seemed like a tall order. I had spent a life learning that most plans amount to paper when someone with a gun decides otherwise. But the ledger hummed in my pocket like a warning. “You thought of running,” Duke said when we were alone again in the kitchen, when the staff had moved on and the mans

Sweet Surrender: A Compilation Of Spicy Erotic Confessions

Sweet Surrender: A Compilation Of Spicy Erotic Confessions

But Duncan lost. “Fuck this luck,” he groaned. He shoved his chair back and stood, unbuttoning his jeans without a second of hesitation. My stomach tightened. Dera stared, eyes dragging up his thighs. When his pants hit the floor, there was no hiding it. The outline was massive, even behind the tight black boxers. She didn’t look away. Another hand. Another loss. Duncan laughed as he reached for the waistband. “Duke, you better check this deck. I swear you’re cheating.”

The Mafia's Princess Returns

The Mafia's Princess Returns

No long talks and no back and forth. “Do gentlemen, we have other business matters to attend to. We would get in touch with you if we need anything else or have any information to share”, Duke was more outspoken than Donald. He told us with a smile then, we shook hands and they left. Enzo was about to leave after them when I stopped him.

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Duke was stunned for a moment. He looked at Adeena, who was in front of him, solemnly and said, “Are you trying to do a background check on me after deciding to cooperate with Winters Corporation?” Adeena did not deny it. “The news mentioned your divorce. Is that true?” “It might be true, it might not be.” Duke sounded solemn. “We never officially divorced, but we’ve been separated for four years. Which do you think it is, then?”

Trapped by the cold billionaire

Trapped by the cold billionaire

Also, it gave him something to do when he wasn’t holed up in his studio with his clothes downed in paint. Duke, on the other hand, was still young. He was nine years younger than us and started working as my assistant as soon as he was done with college and I took over as CEO of Cadd Medicals. I had offered him a promotion a few times but he declined because he was happy where he was at. For some reason, he wanted to remain my assistant and I didn’t mind because he was very capable. “You talk too much,” I told him as he pulled over in the underground parking lot. “Just learn to keep your mouth shut when she’s around and we won’t have problems.”

Puck Me Hard

Puck Me Hard

O'Rourke studied me for a moment, as though he was trying through every cracked piece of me under my shield, then he shook his head and dropped a bombshell, “Have you heard from Dorian lately?” Everything inside me just… dropped. The fucking knife to my ribs. I straightened up and tried not to sure how much it affected me. “No,” I exhaled, eyes fixed on a scratch on his desk. “Not really. I haven't.” Coached sighed, long and heavy before leaning back on his seat.“He sent me a mail last week. Dorian is quitting hockey. Entirely.” I jerked my head up. “Wait. What?” “Yeah,” O’Rourke said, arms folded. “Look when I benched him, I just wanted the steam online to die down. The team morale was gett

The Duke And I

The Duke And I

"Zack..." "I also didn't kill your father," Zack added angrily, without waiting for the duke to say anything more. "All I ever did was encourage your mum to leave if she couldn't handle the pain any less than any woman could. But I never killed your father. He took his own life, Henry!" The study was eerily quiet, and Jonathan felt uncomfortable with all that was being thrown around. But most importantly, he felt a pang of sadness at the state of the duke.

Rivian Jones
Great read! normally I read books that are hard to follow due to being poorly translated, not historically accurate and reflective of the country the story is based in. but, this book was entertaining and had a really good plot.

True talent. I want to read more by this up and coming author. This is literary art at its finest. Could not put it down. Emotions, humor and turns I wasn't expecting. I can only wait on tender hooks for another book. Sequel please!
