Ross perked up quickly at that then looked at my ear. "Pierce it! Pierce!" He said in excitement then tackled my ear. "We'll pierce it and make it all pretty! I want the hoop to have a sapphire on it at the bottom! It's my favorite gem! My favorite gem for my precious jewel! Pierce him!" He started to gnaw on my ear and then growled a bit, starting to grab my ear and then went to pierce it with his talons. "My jewel is going to love it! I think I have a hoop with a sapphire on it in my hoard!" I widened my eyes in panic and fell over, hiding my head on the ground.

Amethyst thought as she put Melpomene on her back. "Help him out! I'll look after the flower of the Ocean!" Immediately after taking in a few deep breaths into her system, Amethyst advised, but instead, she received huge, bulging eyes from Pierce. He aired suppressed squeals that were barely audible and laughed mysteriously. "Oh no, Althea! The beast doesn't need help! The beast needs blood!" Pierce spat, his body beginning to convulse as if he was being bitten by a family of beetles.
