Jessica picked up a photograph from a nearby shelf. Henri immediately groaned. "Oh no." She looked down. A much younger Henri stood beside a ridiculous sculpture made entirely from what appeared to be kitchen utensils. Jessica stared. Then laughed. "What is that?" Henri folded his arms. "Art." "No." "It won an award." Jessica laughed harder. "You're lying." Henri looked offended. "I am French. We do not lie about art." The photograph clearly suggested otherwise. The afternoon disappeared quickly. Every object in the attic seemed to contain a story.

I played with the rings on his fingers while we drove in silence. Then we pulled into a cafe, which looked super cute. 'Benney's' was written in big letters while people entered and left the shop. Dante got out and went to my side. He opened my door and held my hand while we walked over. He opened the door, and the bell above it rang. The sweet smell of coffee and baked goods hit me in full force, and I sucked in a deep breath. I relaxed and started walking with Dante, who was still holding my hand.

Later, as we gathered in our lodge to begin working on revamping the songs on the discs, I saw Ariana furiously tapping away on her phone.
