The Imposter in my bed
I back her up until her spine hits the edge of the vanity, knocking a perfume bottle to the floor where it breaks.
"You already have me, Lea," I say, my voice a deadly, quiet rasp. "I am standing here. I am playing your sick game. What else do you want?"
Instead of looking scared, Lea's lips curl into a slow, seductive smile. She reaches up, running her manicured nails lightly across my bare chest.
"I want you to get dressed and smile for the cameras, darling," she whispers, her breath ghosting over my jaw. "Because if you embarrass me tonight, your precious Tara will be spending the rest of her life in a ditch."
