" Since then the queen became a history inspiring the generations to come with her heroic and brave deeds. I did heard of the story of the thunder wolf when I was a kid but I never believed it. “Only because it’s an emergency.” Elmo rubbed his eyes, and blinked away fatigue. As his vision cleared he found himself looking at Lucas’ bookshelf, and his heart sank as he surveyed the spines of books his friend loved so much. There were copies of The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators and The Secret Seven, as well as modern mystery thrillers by authors such as Lee Child and James Patterson. But there were also older novels that Elmo recalled as movies on TCM but had never read. He saw Treasure Island and Ivanhoe, Tom Sawyer and Robinson Crusoe.

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

She told herself the faint tingle was her imagination, just as the hot dreams she’d been having the past few nights had been nothing more than memories of her girlish rescue fantasies with the temperature turned up by her adult experiences. She traced the raised lettering. A version of Red Riding Hood with the wolf as both sinner and seducer and the woodsman as the hero who saves the girl and takes her away from her old life to a new, better one. Seeing the book, touching it made her mother feel closer than she had in years. Even if it turned out to be just a copy, it was worth whatever she had paid.

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

Thank you for reading The Beta and the Jewel Thief - Book 6 of the Delta's Daughter series. I would like to kindly ask you all to leave me a review on the about book page. This helps me as an author and my stories get noticed on the app. Just a few words and a great rating would be appreciated. Now I know I left this book with another cliffhanger... You still love me I know it. ;) I also know there are a few questions. Not everything could be explained, the story had well superseded any of the other books in regards to word count.

This is a wonderful story. This book could stand alone, but if you read all the books in this series, this book will open a beautiful world. Once you start to read you have trouble putting it down. Highly recommend as well as all the other books in the Delta’s Daughter Series.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Sinful Nights

Sinful Nights

No one has found the bodies yet, though, so theres still a lingering hope out there that they're alive. I sigh as I crawl under the thick quilt, flicking on the lamo beside me as I pull out my latest find at Barnes and Nobels: The Winter Garden by the famous Kristin Hannah. This woman's books are truly amazing. Then, after an hour long reading session, I find my eyes beginning to shut against my will, so I set down the book on the bedside table and shut off the lamp. ~ The next morning...

The Winter Swan

The Winter Swan

After a deep breath, Silje asked smoothly, “Do you remember how we used to talk about Karin Fossum’s books?” She spoke to him in Norwegian, making Kail smile mysteriously. He replied softly, “Oh, Karin Fossum… Of course. Have you read Carl Johan Vallgren too?” He sounded so natural like this was a normal day. Kail was a good actor and Silje smiled. She could do the same. Calmly, he continued, “If you finished all of Carl Johan Vallgren’s books, you should try Karin Fossum’s ‘He Who Fears the Wolf’. It is about a man who escaped a mental institution. You will find it very interesting.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Becoming immersed in Jo Nesbo's works feels like embarking on a thrilling roller coaster, where each twist and turn leaves you breathless. Picture this: you're diving into 'The Snowman,' a gripping tale that features the iconic detective Harry Hole. Almost immediately, you're pulled into a chilling universe filled with suspense and a masterful blend of intrigue and character development. Nesbo's ability to create an unsettling atmosphere really shines here, as he explores the dark corners of the human psyche through his complex characters. You can practically feel the snow crunching underfoot and the impending dread lurking just around the corner.

Another gem is 'The Redbreast.' This one takes you through multiple timelines, brilliantly weaving historical elements with a thrilling present-day narrative. You’ll find yourself captivated not just by the mystery itself but also by the rich background that informs it. Nesbo really knows how to create layers in his plots. Harry Hole carries so much personal baggage, and you can’t help but root for him even when he’s knee-deep in trouble. The unraveling of the story feels like a puzzle waiting to be pieced together, keeping you glued to the pages until the very last revelation.

Then there's 'The Leopard.' My heart raced through this stunning follow-up to 'The Snowman.' As Harry travels to Africa for a deeper insight into the criminal mind he's hunting, the stakes couldn't be higher. This novel dances on the edge of horror and mystery, making it a must-read. For anyone who loves tightly woven thrillers with strong character development, I can't recommend Nesbo's work enough. He doesn't just write books; he crafts experiences that linger long after the last page is turned.
