At one point, they came across a small art gallery, and Sophia found herself drawn to a painting—a beautiful sunset over a quiet lake.
Julian noticed her staring. “Do you like it?”
She nodded. “It’s… peaceful.”

“Consider it a wedding gift,” he said casually.
