Bonded
For days I have waited for his return, now that's his back am lost of words.
Taking a bowl and a towel, i fill the bowl with a warm water, squatting down Infront of him, he mirror my actions with frown brows. Soaking the towel, I bring the towel to his chest, dry blood covers his skin, the nagging thought of some of it isn't his, makes my hand shake lightly.
Drenching the fabric and squeezing it simultaneously, the droplet of blood covers the surface of the water, repeating the action several times.
"There are not all my blood" his words startles me, pausing momentarily. He confirms my suspicion. The silence seems to drag on as he waits for me to speak.
