Nora wiped Brooklyn’s tears away. “Don’t worry, he’ll survive if he had been shot in the arm. But who were they? Why did they attack you two?” asked Nora with concern. Brooklyn explained to her what happened at Willamette Valley and about Freddie Miller and how he had kidnapped her and Brandon. “Thank God they both are arrested,” said Nora as a shudder went down her spine. The door of the OT opened and the doctor emerged with a smile on his face. They rushed towards him for an update. “Are you Mr. Ardolf's family?” he asked and Brooklyn and Nora nodded.

But I only have eyes for Knox, for the man I thought I'd never see again. He reaches me first, dropping to his knees in the blood-soaked leaves. His hands hover over my body, clearly wanting to touch me but afraid of causing more damage. "Aubrey, oh god. What happened? Who did this to you?" His voice breaks on the words. I try to sit up straighter, using the tree for support. Every movement is agony, but this information is too important to wait. "Knox... listen to me." The words come out slurred through my split lip. "Nora is dead. The woman with the Crescent Pack... she's not who you think she is."

V Nora followed at a distance, weaving through the lingering crowd as Robert disappeared into the shadows of the alley. She had seen him like this before. This was the side of him most feared, but it was not fear that gripped her. It was purely out of curiosity. Her heels clicked softly against the pavement, until she reached the edge of the alley. Robert had Castellano pinned against the wall, his body language a quiet threat. The man was already trembling, trying to talk his way out of whatever fate awaited him.

He declared running his fingers on the note at the bottom left of the note where the name he mentioned appeared. “If their mother is a vampire then they are vampires.” Amaya analyzed. “I think we should call Marissa,” Hadrian said. “There is another name here, Zachary Taylor. It must be another Vampire. Amaya, you're dealing with five vampire brothers.” Hadrian scolded, raising his voice at the last sentence. “I'm sorry.” Amaya whined. “Go and get some rest. I have three lines of sentences left to finish the note and I would destroy it afterward.” Hadrian said.

He's quiet and more secretive about what he knows, choosing to reveal things to only those he thinks needs to know and when he wants to. The force was so great that his knuckles turned white.

~~~~ I rushed out of my car hoping I'll get to talk to her before she gets upstairs, to her room. I opened the door, slamming it behind me. I looked up at the stairs, silently cursing the fact I'll have to climb it. I heard a sound coming from the sitting room, I turned immediately, my heart beating hard as I set my eyes on my brother holding a gun, pointing it at Loren. It all became clear, I was oblivious to it, the fear in Loren's eyes, the playing smirk on my brother's, the anger in his eyes. Flashes of that night came rushing in. Louisa on the floor covered by a pool of blood, Javier standing there with the knife on his hand.

“Why are you acting like you have seen a ghost? Or is it the first time you are seeing my mate?” Mr. Williams drew a breath to answer and let it out. “When did you get back together with her? And why?!?” He pointed at Nora with his index finger. “She is a murderer, she killed someone in cold blood. How can you still think of being with her even after learning what she can do?”

Nyra stared at the screen blankly for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow, “Why am I looking at a picture of Professor Moore?” Elara turned her head sharply to her friend, tears pooling in her eyes, “That's my brother” Nyra inhaled loudly, the sound harsh in the quiet of the room, like she’d been punched in the chest. “What the fuck.”
