The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

Somewhere in the city—several stories above, in a steel and glass building—Julian Blackwood lay in his dark, sleek bedroom, staring at the book she had given him. He'd never intended to keep it. When Lena Carter had offered it to him—those gentle words, that thoughtful crease between her eyebrows—he'd intended to refuse. But something in her eyes had taken away his intention. It was neither flirting nor pretense. It was genuine. Silent. Generous. He hated kindness. It broke things open. Julian gazed down at the book. The cover was unadorned, the title in gold print: *A Man Called Ove*. He remembered Lena's words:

The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

ISLA'S POV Midnight hits the city like a physical weight. We’re moving again. Not to another hotel with room service and high-thread-count sheets. Not to the Hamptons estate with its glass walls and ocean views. We are going to a place Gabriel calls "the last resort." An industrial loft in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Off-Limits: The Billionaire's Deal

Off-Limits: The Billionaire's Deal

"The hotel is in Manhattan. Whatever you choose needs to feel like the city without being a postcard of it." "Specific but not literal." "Exactly." I wrote it down. He went back to his screen. This was the strange domesticity of the situation. We were married, living together, navigating a stalker and a board meeting and a business rival, and somehow we'd also just had a productive design conversation over cold coffee on a Sunday morning. At noon his phone rang. He looked at the screen and something in his face closed off. "Thomas," he said. "You should take it."

LOVE WAS NOT IN THE CONTRACT

LOVE WAS NOT IN THE CONTRACT

“When I say I grow up in a three-bedroom in Brooklyn I want you to understand that I mean a three-bedroom in Brooklyn.” The corner of his mouth moves. Just slightly. “I know,” he says. “I like Brooklyn.” I look back at the house. “Of course you do,” I say. “You have the whole of this and you like Brooklyn.” He almost smiles. “Brooklyn has better coffee.” “It absolutely does,” I agree. -----

A Deal With The Devil

A Deal With The Devil

“Where should I drop you, Ms. Emerson?” Grant’s voice brought her back to reality. They had left the parking area of the busy Manhattan Cruise Terminal behind, and Brynne sighed. The much-awaited cruise tour was over. It was far from what she had expected, turning her life upside down. “499E, 49th St., Brooklyn.” It slipped out of her tongue before she knew it. But Brynne didn’t want to take advantage of Grant’s generosity. “You can drop me off after crossing Brooklyn Bridge. I’ll book an Uber.”

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

"What are you doing in Cobble Hill?" "I live in Cobble Hill." Something shifted in his expression — a recalibration, slight. "I didn't know that." "Brooklyn's a big borough." I nodded at the book in his hand. "What did you find?" He turned it over. A novel I had read two years ago — dense, beautifully written, the kind of book that required patience and rewarded it extravagantly. "Carol recommended it. I described what I was looking for and she disappeared for thirty seconds and came back with this."

IT'S A JOB, NOT A RELATIONSHIP, MR. BILLIONAIRE

IT'S A JOB, NOT A RELATIONSHIP, MR. BILLIONAIRE

I closed my laptop with a snap, suddenly needing air. Grabbing my coat and scarf, I stepped out into the drizzling rain and started walking with no destination. The streets of Brooklyn were quieter today, the gray skies and mist keeping most indoors. But for me, the cold air was necessary. It helped me think, helped me breathe through the noise. My feet led me to a small antique bookstore tucked between a flower shop and a cafe. Nathan had brought me here on our second date, claiming they had the best leather-bound journals in the borough. I walked inside, letting the soft chime above the door pull me into a different world.

ACRID DESIRE

ACRID DESIRE

Little over a week later, Aaron found himself walking into a room where Brooklyn was waiting to be checked. He just got back from his home town and he had not even had the time to get in touch with her. “Hello Brooklyn” he greeted cheerfully as he sat down ,her file in his hand. “I thought I told you no more falling?” She smiled “ wasn’t my doing this time doc". He took a little moment to check her out, she was dressed in a short floral dress. She even looked more beautiful with a little touch of makeup. She almost caught him staring.

ETERNAL ANGEL AND HER LAST REQUEST

ETERNAL ANGEL AND HER LAST REQUEST

Jackson replied firmly. Lie. Jackson knows very well that at this time Brooklyn and Kayla are still in his hotel. The two couples who just got married are still staying at their hotel for a long time. Luckily Brook chose Le Bristol as his temporary home. So he and Dimitry could keep a close eye on Brooklyn's movements. Brook's decision to stay was not because he wanted to find Beverly, but on Kayla's request. Kayla wants to spend more time in that romantic city. And as a husband, Brook complied with his request. That's the information Jackson got from his confidants.

My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss

Brooklyn glowered, his gaze turning vicious, as he snarled, “Who the f*ck are you? How dare you barge in here!?” Brooklyn’s underlings shut the door right away to block his way out. Kayson arched his brow. “Move your men if you don’t want to end up in the hospital.” “Acting so brazen with me? Do you think you’re Bob Faber?” Brooklyn asked darkly. He then glared at Livia. “I thought you were some innocent maiden, and you said you don’t have any plans to date? “B*tch, I thought you had better respect for yourself, but you’re just another wh*re!”

Donald Jackson
What's up with this author. It's been almost a month since it has been updated. This is a good book. Don't just leave everyone hanging. This is the reason I will delete this app after I finish reading. You pay and get the bonuses, but they expire before you can finish the book. This is unacceptable
Charm Mauring
I love this book so far and I can’t stop reading it. In addition, it made me continuously unlock every chapter because the story isn’t dragging. Most of the time I skip few chapters because the story is predictable but not this book. The grammar is okay so it’s not disturbing to read.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been to Book Off Brooklyn a few times, and their hours are pretty consistent. They usually open at 10:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, they open a bit later at 11:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM. It’s a great spot for manga, light novels, and secondhand figures, so I always plan my visits around their hours. If you’re into Japanese pop culture, it’s worth checking out their collection—just make sure you go during operating hours to avoid disappointment. The staff are friendly, and the store has a cozy vibe that makes browsing fun.
