Ngunit, lingid sa kanilang kaalaman na may natitira pa pa lang mga bampira na nagmula sa lahi ng mga itim na desididong muling pabangonin ang kanilang lahi na matagal nang natutulog sa mahabang panahon. Sino lahi ang magwawagi? At sinong lahi ang tuluyang mabubura sa kasaysayan?
