Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

“Before you decide to give up on the story, you should read the next two books in the series.” “Where did you get those from?” Jo asked quietly as she looked at the small stack of books. “Probably the same place that you got that one. Little library up on the second floor.” “Yeah.” She admitted and gave a little blush. “That’s my library.” “I thought that it might be Shelby’s book.” “Nope. Shell is a card-carrying member of the audiobook and podcast book club. I’m pretty sure that if she had to actually read something not for school, she’d probably burst into flames.”

I opened my eyes and reached out for the novel chosen by the book club, an old read for me—Firestarter by Stephen King. I wondered why we had to read something like this in a book club where the majority of the members were hopeless romantics. I stared at the folded page and slowly opened it. I was still stuck in chapter eight since I started the book at the beginning of the month.
