In a cramped room with a book that felt like a piece of my own lost soul? "The book," I began, my gaze fixed on the faded spine. "It's German. A collection of fairy tales, I think. The Brothers Grimm, but not the Disney versions. The dark ones." I paused, trying to organize the chaotic tumble of thoughts and discoveries into a coherent narrative. "I found it in a bookstore down the street. Tucked away, almost hidden." "Hidden on purpose?" Anya's voice was calm, steady. She wasn't rushing me. She was letting the story unfold at its own pace.

Elena said, looking up to see the winter fairy spirit in front of her. “Is that what you think? Do you know what you're about to do? That book you possess is called the book of shadows which contains spells and magic that could lead to ultimate chaos and destruction! You must be very careful Elena when you use such spells.” The winter fairy said gazing at her. “How come I am able to read and understand these words. I know I haven't seen this kind of writing.” Elena said, handing the book to the winter fairy spirit.

He then puts that book down and moves on to another as he continues, "Now I read somewhere here that some Follick's even sold their tainted members to neighbouring Follicks as slaves. A lot of the tainted fairies are seen as not having any rights whatsoever, so, therefore, are taken advantage of in any and every aspect, from sex to being trained as an assassin. There is only one way to catch a tainted fairy, and that is by using the weakness of both parts of them..." "Wow... So we know what our weaknesses are. What is a fairy's?" "Hold on, I did see that somewhere here..." Elijah picks up one book after another, obviously looking for a particular book. I reach in front of me and pick up an o

I hesitated, then added, “My favorite stories weren’t about the Moon Goddess or pack heroes. They were human tales—morality stories, like the ones by Hans Christian Andersen.” He raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Which ones?” “The darker ones,” I said, smiling faintly, watching the flames lick around the artificial logs in the fireplace. “Like The Little Mermaid. Not the Disney version—the real one, where Ariel has to choose between her life and her prince’s. It’s a reminder that sometimes letting things be is better in the long run than forcing things to be.” He nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. “There’s truth in that. Sometimes, letting the world unfold is the wisest path.”

“You are pathetic.” Her body flinched at my words, but another wave of shivers covered her arms. “Dirty little doll.” The more I talked, the more her nipples were standing at attention, the more her breathing was getting heavier, the more her hands were gripping the fabric they were tied with. My fingers traced her leg. “I bet you are one of the people who like reading p**n books in public.” I moved to her other leg, gripping her ankle. “I bet you keep a straight face while your panties are getting soaked.”

“When Miranda wanted to harm mom because of her grudge and dad saved her, that's when Miranda started targeting us. Because in the fairy tales of the Princess of the Lotus and the Ugly Witch, the witch has not been annihilated, in fact, in the stories made up by humans, the witch has at least a good ending." After that sentence, no one spoke, so the creaking sound of the forks and knives of the Elves who were busy eating could be heard clearly. It wasn't until a minute of silence fell that Wiggy was chuckling again. "Anything funny, Your Highness?" snapped Louise. “Of course there was… first the Tale of the Two Princes, then the Lotus Princess and The Ugly Witch, now Phillip and Lillian. We
