Alpha's Dirty Secrets

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

All the ladies had bows, knives and camo gear. "Does the Audubon Society know about this? I'm pretty sure the World Wildlife Fund would have a freaking stroke," I nodded. "Ladies at Havenstone have a passion for killing things," Buffy measured me. "I thought you might want to know." "Why do you use bows?" I questioned. "Don't your boobs get in the way?" Buffy smacked me in the chest - hard. I could have blocked. That would have been counterproductive. No, I grabbed her right boob and gave it a strong squeeze. In retaliation, she hit me again. I grabbed her boob. This went on until we entered the garage. She got in the last hit.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I stared at my hand, almost feeling the cut even though my skin was untouched. Ashton took the dagger apart, fitting the pieces back into a bottle. Then he found a red cord, threaded the crystal onto it, and tied it around my wrist like a bracelet. I looked at it. It was delicate and pretty, completely innocent. No one would ever guess it was a weapon. But still… He’d go to all this effort to arm me, but he wouldn’t say a damn word about punishing Genevieve. Was this bottle his way of making it up to me? Was this her sorry?

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

FERAL LOVE WITH A WEREWOLF

FERAL LOVE WITH A WEREWOLF

She also purchased silver bullets, knowing that they were effective against werewolves, as well as various herbs and oils that could be used in traps. After a few hours of meticulous work, the crossbow was complete. It was a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, made from the finest wood and metal. She tested it out in her backyard, aiming at a target she had set up. The bolt hit the target with precision, and she couldn't help but let out a whoop of excitement.

Bonded

Bonded

The most impractical things they had received were the fresh honeycomb that he doubted would last long enough to go off, judging by how many times Skye had been sticking his finger into the sticky honey before pulling it out to suck on it guiltily when he thought no one was watching. As well as a lambskin- the leather treated and the wool soft to the touch. It was the kind of thing one gifted an expectant mother to swaddle their newborn in. Linus missed a step as his thoughts went right back to where he was trying to avoid and Brite eyed him suspiciously. He waved him off, but he planned on getting good and drunk tonight to try shake off whatever the hell had taken over him. There was no way

The Elf King and His Bodyguard

The Elf King and His Bodyguard

"Your short Basharr skirts won't keep you warm here." "I meant how tight they are," Violet said. "I'm cinched into this so well I can't tell where I end and the dress begins." "King Curzon said you look perfect," Olivia replied, as if that was the only standard she could fathom. Hestia held out a glistening bow made of oak. The warm yellow wood shamed the sun above them. Violet took it and hung her quiver from a stand nearby. She nocked an arrow and stretched the string back to her mouth, struggling against her dress to get full range of motion. But Violet was patient when a bow was in her grip—she took two deep breaths, waiting for the right moment.

Heart of the Bayou Beasts

Heart of the Bayou Beasts

She had sent him to fetch them an hour ago but New Orleans was a swamp of people right now. The seamstress opened the smaller boxes and approached Beau and me. She handed one to Bri who looked down at the contents and smiled sadly. She pulled out the boutonniere approaching Wyatt, his hands sliding to her hips and pulling her into him. She reached up and gently pinned it in place at his lapel.

The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!

The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!

With a frustrated huff, she lowered her hand. The gavel slammed down. "Sold! To the lady in midnight blue for four million dollars!" Ashton smirked beside me, but his curiosity was evident as he mind linked me. "Why are you buying your own weapons? " he asked through our mind link. "Why not just take them back?" "Patience, love. I want everyone here to know exactly who’s in control tonight. Let them see the price of betrayal and greed." The next weapon was revealed—a crossbow made from darkened iron, designed to fire bolts that dissolved protective wards on impact.

The White Rose Of Damnation

The White Rose Of Damnation

Too elegant for a man, but perfect for Rea's shape. "Put this on. It'll fit. Comes with two thigh straps, a shoulder bag, and a back-mounted quiver." "Can you use a dagger?" he asked casually, but there was tension in his voice. Rea was already inspecting the suit. Without looking up, she answered firmly, "I can." Kael didn't ask how. It wasn't the time. He then pulled out a bow—dark red wood, curved, old but in excellent condition—alongside a quiver full of arrows.

Foundling

“It looks as if you have made your decision.” “I will try your way . . . for a while,” he said, scratching at his head with one hand and dragging in the dirt behind an unnotched end. “What is the importance of the bow?” “It belonged to my mother.” “It is best if you carry it over your shoulder like this,” and Poe showed him. “That way the tip will not be so misused by rock and dirt.” The bow looked to be of good, solid yew, but ill cared for. The leather handgrip was frayed and tattered and one of the notches looked to be split.

The Alpha’s Cold Snap

The Alpha’s Cold Snap

"Who else did you buy for?" That was the spark I needed. Sharing gifts was one of the few ways I could still connect with people, and Sebastian usually acted like it was a waste of resources. I leaned over, pulling items from the bags with renewed energy. "New reinforced work gloves for Mr. Doyle—the roses in the manor garden are getting aggressive. A percussion massager for Mrs. Quinn—she’s been complaining about her joints. And heavy-duty leather boots for Elliot, since he’s been training the new scouts in the mud.” I felt a rare spark of joy. “And look—these braided leather ribbons. They’re going to look fierce in Shadow’s mane.”
