The Pack's Rebels

The Pack's Rebels

“How cool will that be to have again in town?” “Very cool,” Aislen agreed. “Very, very cool.” “Are you ready?” Talen said quietly to Heath turning up the lights of the 4WD. “Oh shit,” Aislen squeezed her eyes shut and pressed her face into Rhett’s shoulder as they began the ascent onto the railway bridge, Talen slowing the 4WD right down. “Sigrid’s vampires were suicidal,” Heath said darkly as Talen straddled the car across the railway tracks and edged it forward. “They crossed the bridge like it was a f-king racetrack.”

If The Crown Fits

If The Crown Fits

“We are here!” “That’s a bridge.” I pointed out nervously as I tried to look through the heavy fog to see through the other side. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. Which really isn’t helping my anxiety right now. “Yes, it is. It’s the bridge of no return! Because once you cross that bridge, you can no longer return. The same goes for when you fall as well!” I carefully made my way to the edge and peaked at the bottom. I still could not see where it ended. I immediately moved back. “Serena? What happens when we do fall? What’s down there exactly?”

I love this book and I'm sad to see it end. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't write a few chapters between this one and the last one to cover so many questions I now have. I still recommend this book.

Overall, very good story line. I feel some of the characters have developed more than others throughout the storyline but I really enjoy the book. It’s a fun roller coaster. Would definitely read this book again. Can’t wait for the ending. 💛

Reborn As A Scrap Queen

Reborn As A Scrap Queen

I am not going to lose my virginity to a monster like him, never. I just nodded with a smirk, which might be enough for their disrespectful greeting, we walked forward to the bridge that we have to cross over, which was on the lake surrounding that palace, it was so elegantly built with the finest engraving, so good as I saw from near, "Wow... beautiful...!" I stood on the bridge for a second to see, leaning on its fence, the view before me was looking astonishing even when it was not so visible, I wonder what it will look like in the dawn. I was devouring the beauty of that view with my eyes,

Triple Seeds Of Deception

Triple Seeds Of Deception

The siblings followed when it was proven that the bridge is strong enough to hold them. But as they crossed, Cassie being the last of all, felt something is happening behind her she turn her her head and saw the bridge dissintigates as she lift her foot to take another step, as the mountain behind them slowly faded into view. "Anda quick the bridge is dissintigrating!!!" She yelled, as Deo on the other side looks on instead of helping them by pulling the ropes. As their feet landed on safe ground they turn to look behind them and catched a glimpse of the falling of the last rocks that lead them there and the last sights of the mountain that faded into view as if it was never there in the fi

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

Cassian’s POV The bridge beneath my feet was a miracle of gore and geometry. It was a churning, solid mass of salt, sea foam, and the very blood Winnie had poured into the abyss. It did not feel like ice. It felt like walking on the back of a living beast that was barely holding its breath. Every step sent a jolt of white-hot resonance through my shins, a reminder that I was anchored to a woman standing a mile away on a crumbling cliff.

Persuasion

Persuasion

Sir Walter Elliot, of Kellynch Hall, in Somersetshire, was a man who, for his own amusement, never took up any book but the Baronetage; there he found occupation for an idle hour, and consolation in a distressed one; there his faculties were roused into admiration and respect, by contemplating the limited remnant of the earliest patents; there any unwelcome sensations, arising from domestic affairs changed naturally into pity and contempt as he turned over the almost endless creations of the last century; and there, if every other leaf were powerless, he could read his own history with an interest which never failed. This was the page at which the favourite volume always opened:

My Ex, the Widowed Billionaire

My Ex, the Widowed Billionaire

“Then we slow it more.” The silence that followed was worse than an argument. On the seventh day, the frost pulsed. That was the only way I could describe it—the ice along the ground seemed to thicken and thin in waves, like breath. When I knelt by the root, I felt the heat surging through it, frantic, desperate. The book lay open when I turned. “When the bridge stands alone, the water wins.” The stranger stood at the gate before I could stop them, their hand on the latch.

Echoes in the Ashes

Echoes in the Ashes

"Pay attention to the objective. Do not allow the past to define who you are. One by one, they shook off the visions, their determination hardening as her words served as a lifeline. At last, they arrived at the chasm's edge, where an old stone arch protruded into the empty space. The bridge's faint shapes emerged from beneath the fog. The Bridge's Protector The ground shook as they got ready to cross. A tall figure with shadowed body and eyes that glowed with an unearthly light rose out of the fog. It was the Guardian of the Bridge, a creature whose job it was to judge the merits of those who applied for passage.

Mortal

Mortal

Everything is about to change–again. The carriage reaches the edge of the water, and the bridge slowly lowers, creaking like an ancient ship. It slices through the fog, scattering the haze. There it is, halfway across the river and on an island, just like Brynn said: an old stone mansion, barely visible in the haze. Behind it, other buildings take shape in the fog, but they look like little more than dark masses. Behind me, Brynn whimpers. I swallow, doing my best to push back the anxiety. I have no clue what’s headed my way next, and I feel like a trapped animal.

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

"If we get into the water, the temperature difference might mask us. But we have to cross the Bridge of Sighs to get to the Neutral Zone." The Bridge of Sighs was a massive, crumbling expanse of steel that connected the Gutter to the old industrial shipyards. It was a bottleneck, a place where the Syndicate usually set up checkpoints to catch runaway Alphas. Tonight, with the power out, it was a silhouette of jagged metal against the flickering green sky. The Ambush As they reached the foot of the bridge, the air suddenly vibrated with a low-frequency hum. A searchlight, brilliant and cold, cut through the rain from above.
