Her hand clamped around my wrist, nails digging into my skin. “You ruined everything,” she hissed, eyes wild. “You ruined everything.” I yanked back, panic scraping at my throat. “Let go! Andrea! Her fist was clenched and her face was red with anger. Alexander was not stupid. He could assess the situation pretty well. He knew his brother and what lecherous character he had. If he could be fooled by Gerard’s words, he didn’t deserve to become the next heir of the Lancaster family. Besides, the woman in front of him was most likely his Selena Ashford.
