Lonny and Twello gave Daz a look of fear, but Patch didn’t budge. “Go outside, we need to talk,” Daz said, brushing his shoulder as he passed by.
Patch followed him, letting the door slam behind him. “Listen to me,” Daz said. “You knew the rules when you joined this club. When your Momma got mixed up with Dell and owed him her life? I got you out of that. I took care of him, and that’s on me, for you. Now you’re saying you can’t help anymore? Do you not remember how this works? You don’t get out until I let you go, or you do enough to pay me back. This is a brotherhood, not a job you just let go whenever you are finished.”
