Divorcing the Blind Alpha
Right now, it was sitting on top of a messy pile of tax receipts, being used as nothing more than a paperweight to keep the drafts from blowing the documents away.
A cold, wicked grin spread across my lips.
I picked up the fang. Its surface was jagged, cold, and slightly discoloured near the root. I set it down under the direct light of the desk lamp, took out my terminal, and snapped a grainy, unedited photo.
I opened the Moonbook app, uploaded the picture, and typed a single caption.
Found this old bone on my desk. Someone told me it’s a fang from some unknown wild beast. No idea if it’s real or just rubbish. Anyone know what this junk is worth, anyway?
