Thomas nodded and immediately relayed the order through his radio. At the VIVA party, I was unquestionably the center of attention. The music thundered, the lights flickered in a hazy glow. Suddenly, a commotion broke out in the distance. An out-of-place figure shoved through the crowd, heading straight toward me. Harvey stormed up to me. He grabbed my wrist, his eyes locked onto mine, his face twisted with fury and betrayal. "Melanie! Have you lost your mind?!"

I try to butter myself up as I dial Mr Kings number, trying not to scare myself my the fact that Mr Kings doesn’t accommodate issues concerning incompetence well. “I just pray I don’t lose my job that is already hanging on a scale after this” I mutter as soon as I see that Mr Kings has picked up the phone. “Xander kings on the line” he introduces as soon as he picks the call “Good morning sir, this Melanie Caleb on the line” I introduce knowing that there is a huge possibility of the call being transferred to him. “Ohhh you mean Mealanie Caleb” he corrects and I gulp nervously “Yeaaaa sirrr” I answer him.

Melanie says, she tries her best not to sound horse or flare at him. Archie scoffs “Leave if that's what you want to know. I'm fine, so just move away from my door.” Archie sneered. Melanie rolls her eyes before making her way to her room. “I’m just confused about what to do.” Melanie groans the moment she set foot in her room. She closes the door behind her and walks to the bed. She plunges onto the bed and picks up her phone. She unlocks the phone and sees that she's gotten 5 missed calls. Three from her mom, one from Kayla and the remaining one from a strange number.

Harold said in a serious tone, “Mel, she asked you to help her find a psychologist, didn’t she? Go find her one. Let the psychologist persuade her, so she can come back to her senses.” Melody stayed silent and nodded. Harold’s gaze darkened as he narrowed his eyes. “Everett Craig, right? I’ll go meet him.”

"Selene, they're just working here. Why do you go after them? You don't have to do this. You can get a care center within your budget." Ah, she was making me out to be the villain here. Then, her phone rang. The name on the screen read 'Honey.' She froze up. Yeah, that was probably William on the other side. A sneer curled my lips. "Well, take it. Let's see how he weasels himself out of this one." Melanie took the call and put it on speaker. She also put on an act of a nervous lady, but I saw the look in her eyes. She was gloating.

“You can’t say that about other people” “Relax, no-one heard me. Why are you acting so bothered, it’s not like you don’t think it”. “Of course I didn’t. Melanie glared at her but before she could respond to her, see felt her cell phone chime in her pocket. Pulling it out, she saw that it was an incoming call from her best friend, Erin.

Elena “This fucking phone, I can't do anything with it. Why would they give me a phone that does not work? What the heck?” Nothing works on the damn phone, the only thing I can do with it is watch YouTube videos. What the fuck? I need help, not YouTube. I've been trying countless times to call someone but it just doesn't work. There's a number saved as A on it. I tapped on the number and it started calling. I immediately sat up. Is the phone working now? My face immediately lit up when I saw the call going through. The person answered, shit. I brought the phone closer to my ear.

Annie had to remove the phone from her ear for a little moment because of how loud his voice was. She placed the phone back on her ear. "This is Annie!...I don't...." "Really?. Is this another prank of your, doctor Larry!..why is your voice sounding....." Pim!. The line got disconnected. The hell!. Annie stared at the screen and quickly dialed the number again. *Sorry!,your account balance is low.*the service said.. Ughhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! She threw the phone down and ruffled her hair... Geez,if only that damn guy have listened to her self.

I didn't know if it was my crying or the sound of the ringing phone, but suddenly, Mom's lashes fluttered, and her eyes slowly opened. A rush of joy filled me, but it was short-lived. Before I could react, I watched her reach for the phone. Panic seized me, and I threw myself forward instinctively. "Mom, don't answer it! Don't!" I screamed, my voice raw and desperate. But as soon as my hand brushed hers, it passed right through. I was so frantic, I could barely breathe. She had just woken up—if she found out she was being suspended, who knew what she'd do in her fragile state?
