“You should’ve expected this the day he started charging for water. People like him consider it a loss if they go out and don’t pick up money others have dropped. Anyway, I’m used to it by now.” Zeke Gibson tossed a bottle cap into the air and caught it like it was nothing. “Come on, watch me. Maybe I’ll win another bottle!” Three seconds later, he tossed the cap into the trash. Juliet and I exchanged a smile before we took out our phones to scan the QR codes. Instead of the expected “Better luck next time,” a picture of a car appeared on my screen. [Congratulations! You have won a 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS worth 500,000 dollars. “Hello Mrs. King. Funny you should ask, there indeed is. It's the biggest contest in the whole of the getaway, Ma’am for two special reasons. One, the presence of a highly esteemed guest, and the mouthwatering prize.” “Oh really?” She asked, leaning her elbows on the desk as he spoke. “Yes. The winning couple wins a whopping sum of one million Dollars!” “What?” Marie sputtered in disbelief. A million for a silly game? Mistaking her surprise for scoffing, Stefan nodded. “It's true, Ma’am. I realize for a billionaire like yourself Ma’am, it's barely a drop in the hat. But most couples here would be glad to receive such a prize. And they don't even need to get all the answers right. They just

Kevin said, and I couldn't wait for the day to come. "The games will start in three days; I set the winning price at fifty thousand Crons for the first place, thirty thousand Crons for second place, fifteen thousand crons for third place and five thousand crons for fourth to fourteenth place," Kevin stated. Jasper approved. The prize money was coming from his pockets, and it was something he could afford without flinching. There was a time we were very broke. It all seemed like a distant memory now. The unbelievable part was that those were our happiest moments when we didn't have a care in the world. Now there was just too much to deal with and fix. The time together was limited.

He moves so fast I cannot even remember the faces of people I speak to. “Please,” I ask him “Slow down.” My feet ache and my muscles are sore. I have long since dropped the flowers on some random table, hoping silently they would burn and take the building and everyone in it. My fingers grasp onto a glass and I gulp down water quickly, my throat parched from flimsy small talk. The wedding will be in the papers. I can see the headline now- Two Crime Families Put Aside Differences; I knew the papers would sell quickly. Crime sold. I would know. My name had been in the papers since the day I was born thanks to my father. New York would tremble underneath me if I wanted it to. I dripped in cashm

Surprisingly, I found myself getting excited by his threats. “Ye… yes… “ I answered, trying to calm down my racing heart. Oh God! I was expecting a day like this to come but not so early. Tyler mustn’t know of this, not now. “Good! I won’t ever repeat myself again, is that clear?” He asked, waiting for an answer. I gave him a curt nod but quickly whispered “yes” when I realized he couldn’t see me. “You coming with me to a charity ball tonight” Denver’s cold voice broke me out of my trance. “I’m not a patient man Mia. Time is precious to me and delay won’t be tolerated ” he finished muttered.

Jacob remarked. “We’re already here. I want to hear what else they have to say,” Arda replied. “Alright,” Karina agreed. “Whatever you want,” Jacob said, sounding reluctant, but Arda ignored him. Surprisingly, so did Karina. “Anyway,” the woman continued, “we’ve set up a website for this contest. Go online, fill out the form, and upload a picture of your mark. This is now an online competition. Include your bank details, and our team will verify your submission. Winners will be announced on the site, and prizes will be sent directly.”

I asked, barely able to contain my grin. “Yeah right! Like you stand a chance, Emo!” Jessica spat at me nastily. “So, how much does the winner get?” I asked excitedly, ignoring her sneer. She counted the money that was in the pile. “Well, there’s two hundred and forty here at the moment, but once people hear of it…. well, I don’t know…. the last time we did this, it was for Chris. It got up to six hundred and twenty, but Liam is way hotter, and by the looks of him untouchable, well, for the moment anyway.” Jessica laughed, folding the money and putting it in her pocket, writing the entrants names onto a piece of paper. I laughed; wow, this is going to be easy money. Kate was laughing her hea

I need to finish the article that I am doing and submit it before the deadline. Earlier in the morning, I saw an article saying that there is a contest for writing an essat about the effects of climate change in the economy and health of the people. Their prizes ranges from $200 - $1000. I did not waste the chance. Of course, if I will win in the said contest, my article will be featured in a famous magazine, which is Fancy Magazine, and the cash prizes that are waiting for the winner. After several minutes, I finally finished my article and submit it immediately to their email address. Good thing that my brain is working flawlessly today. I did not experience a writer's block and the flow o

Kourtney interfered as though it made her feel empowered. “Good for you.” William turned around to face Gwen and thrust his hand to her. Then she placed four stacks of hundred-dollar-bills on his palm which made my eyes grew wide. “These are for you all.” “Wait, I thought whoever wins gets the cash prize?” Kourtney asked, confused. “You all will be needing this cash on your way to Mexico,” he answered, handing us the stacks of bills.

The struggle that she had to go through is intense. This book shook me and I give Araulla props for even having the strength to come back. Some people leave and never come back. This is such an original story! It's not super cliche. I love that! Great job. :D
