He just chuckled, finding this act cute but I was honestly pissed.
“You’re still so handsome,” I said bitterly, twisting my lips. “And I’m just… getting round like a ball.” I hissed.
“I’m sorry,” he said quickly, his tone turned serious. “You still look incredible, and you can take leave from work if it helps you feel better.” I didn't like that suggestion.
I frowned, crossing my arms. “If I stay home, I’ll just get fatter.”
He laughed softly then corrected me with that familiar, patient tone. “Chubby, not fat, Sunshine. There’s a difference, and you’re beautiful either way.”
