The dress was waiting for me on the bed. It was deep forest green and far more expensive than anything I had ever owned. There was no note, but I knew Silas had picked it out. He was the one who cared about the optics of "Elena Blackwood." I put it on because I didn't want another fight about clothes. I was tired of fighting over the small things.

A woman in an im‌peccable black dress approached, her eyes wid‌ening slightly as she recognised Alexander. "Mr. Grant‌, what a‌n honour. How may we assist you today?"‍ "I want everything in her size that s‌ays 'untouchable'," Alexander said, gesturing to Helena. "Daywear, evening w‍ear,‍ and..." his eyes d‍arkened slightly as they sw‍ept ov‌er her,‌ "loungewear‍."

None of us came here with a ball in mind. So while Christopher’s staff set the house for the occasion, we went shopping. Christopher and Nectar went on their own. Zeath and I also left together. I don’t know where the hell Beavan took Yolie to. Choosing Zeath’s tuxedo wasn’t an issue. It was selecting my dress that became the hassle. However, we finally make a choice by picking a black velvet dress with a fitted bodice, which transitions into a voluminous, floor-length, layered, flare skirt that is longer at the back and has a tulle underneath.

Her body is amazing. Dylan and his girlfriend are next to arrive, and Rilee and I walk over to introduce ourselves. "Hey! I'm Sierra." The brunette gives us both a hug, and we reciprocate. "I love your dress!" I compliment. Sierra is wearing a black floral, silk dress with a black turtleneck as an undershirt. She looks so fashionable. Finally, Caleb and his girlfriend walk in, and we say our welcomes. "Christina." She introduces herself softly, tucking a lock of her silky black hair behind her ear.

Roxanne sat inside the limousine now almost slowing down. She shifted uncomfortably, the cool sliding sweat slipping between her fingers and the fine cloth of her dress. The dress had been selected out of a whole list drawn by the sebastien family, especially for occasions like this. It was a very elegant piece-black and clung to her curves, then flowed effortlessly onto the floor. It was the kind of piece designed to turn heads, not that she was quite sure it was a good thing exactly right now. Ciel was seated beside her. He wore confidence like a cloth, as he was in a perfectly cut suit, his posture was relaxed but commanding.

The butler was wearing a white glove as he lifted his hand, did a thumbs-up gesture, and smiled smugly, making me want to hit him. I chose a long purple dress. The upper part of the dress was a tight tube that had a slit going right down to my belly button. The soft silk flowed down from my waist, and there were beautiful flowers embroidered into the bottom half of the skirt that would move along with the wind as I walked. It made me look beautiful and sexy. I dressed myself up beautifully, thinking I would be the most beautiful person in the room. But the second I saw Nicholas, I felt like time had stopped.

"How did he know my exact measurements for everything? It’s like this dress was made just for me." Brandon smiled, a touch of pride in his voice. "Ethan pays attention to details, that’s for sure." Britney’s dress was a deep blue velvet that fit her like a second skin, highlighting every curve. The strapless design and sweetheart neckline framed her shoulders and collarbones perfectly. The bodice had a subtle ruching that added texture without overwhelming the sleek silhouette.

He stood motionless like a statue, his dark eyes widening as they locked onto the silhouette gracefully making its way down the sweeping staircase. It was Hellena. The curvy woman was dressed in a premium velvet evening gown in a deep maroon shade—a choice personally selected by Mrs. Hansel that fit her perfectly. The gown hugged her figure beautifully, accentuating her full waist while maintaining an air of refined elegance. Her long black hair, usually tied back neatly, had been styled into a loose modern updo, with a few delicate strands framing her slender, fair neck. Her soft makeup enhanced her full face, making her round eyes appear even more radiant.

"How about this?" She got up in a champagne dress, it was long and if measured it would reach my feet. It was so simple to look at, just right for me. "I want the black one, Glazilda." Boredly I said. He insisted that I not wear the black dress I chose, why is it beautiful, ah? "Celeste, for goodness sake! You're going to attend a wedding not a party!" Henry held him by the shoulder so he looked at him.
