“Then what is?” I ask
“Growth,” Daniel answers.
“Control,” Jax mutters.
Daniel smiles like he hears it, because he did. “Shared control,” he corrects.
I finally glance down at the document. Numbers. Big ones. The kind that could change things. The kind that lock you into something you can’t just walk away from.
