I asked her, as she bit her lower lip. "For years now I've been having wierd dreams, all of which are always different but everytime I keep seeing that---" She pointed at my chest, her hand fell on it. I moaned feeling the sparks that erupted. Davina's fingers pushed open my shirt, then her hand settled on the left side of my chest. "I always keep seeing this drawing in my dream" She said, staring at the Alpha mark that stood there. It was a black large wolf, having a moon below it shaped crescent. Only an Alpha Lord can bear this mark. It represent the Alpha wolf and the entire Werewolf packs.

It was Alpha, and boy, did it smell really amazing, like home. We don’t follow normal rules. We have our own we abide by, and it doesn’t involve humans’ niceties. But this time was different. When Andrew arrived, the Red Ridge Beta, a wolf named Marcus, was patrolling inside their territory. This was the same Marcus who usually bowed his head to Andrew. Today, he was arrogant. "Well, look who it is," Marcus sneered. "The legendary, unbeatable Alpha Andrew. I hear your Luna ran off." A murderous glint flashed in Andrew's eyes. "Shut your mouth. Get off my land. Now." "Ooh, touchy," Marcus said, unafraid. "But you're not looking so good, are you? A little pale, breathing a little heavy… Could it be you've gotten weak without your Luna?"

But I didn‘t want to get sweaty and gross. The pack house comes into view as I round a corner. I can see Alpha Mark standing outside. He was currently looking at his phone so he hadn’t noticed me yet. I took that time to really look at him. His hair looked like he had ran his hand through it a dozen times, he was tall and very muscular. His skin was tanned, like he spent a lot of time out in the sun. He looked like a model. As I got closer I could smell the mate scent and I knew he could smell mine as well because he looked up from his phone at me. As soon as he saw me he smiled widely and shoved his phone in his pocket.

However, those two chosen Alphas were still tricky opponents. "You don't even have a territory, Alpha Ace," sneered Alpha Mark. "Control yourself! They're trying to bring you down through your emotions," I whispered to Ace. Ace took a deep breath and spoke, hissing, "Say whatever you want. But right now, you're in my house. My house, my rules!" Alpha Mark stepped forward. His eyes scanned us one by one. "I see your team is incomplete." He focused on Ace. "Where is your daughter, Alpha Ace? Is she at summer camp?" he asked with a mysterious smile.

The man answered, “I am Alpha Roman Addams from The Blood Mountain Pack. I don’t care if you’re marked. Once I mark you his mark will disappear.” I shook my head, “Not going to happen asshole.” I stomped his foot as hard as I could. I heard bones breaking and the alpha yelled as he let go of me. I quickly moved away from him and tried to get away, but he lunged for me and landed just behind me, reaching to put his arm around my neck. I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my back.

When an Alpha was gifted with two sons, that meant the goddess wanted the Pack to split, "Wow, so it looks like if we went to Europe, we could see a similar tree, Pack Mark. Kind of like a sister pack! I guess I never realized all the Alpha's I know only have one son and one or two daughters." I kept reading. "Next is the Alpha, Luna, and Heir Marks. We saw the Heir Mark on James during his ceremony." I was utterly nerding out at this point. It said the Alpha mark is a full moon not only because it represents the moon goddess but because it's the brightest on the night of a full moon, and the Alpha should always be the light in the dark to his Pack. "Wow, that's beautiful, poetic almost."

I begged. He turned and snatched his shirt from the floor. In the dim light of the lantern, I discerned a familiar mark just above his right shoulder blade—a crescent moon enclosed by a circle, the same mark I bore on my hip, the unmistakable mark of an alpha. "Are you seriously kidding me?" I exclaimed. He straightened up and faced me. I approached him with a purposeful stride and pushed him gently but firmly. "You bear the mark of the alpha," I stated, my voice filled with frustration. "Yet, you choose to shun the title and the responsibility that comes with it. How can you pass judgment on me?"
