Sorry, It Was My Fault

Sorry, It Was My Fault

She sat on the right-hand side of the court. Shortly afterward, Damon Steel walked into the courtroom with Miss Paula Cage and sat on the left-hand side. Judge Bill walked in wearing a long black robe a few minutes later. She sat on the bench above the witness stand. Judge Bill banged her gavel and said, “The court is in session.” Then she asked Miss Paula Cage to stand. Miss Cage and her lawyer, Mr Damon Steel, stood up. Judge Bill looked at Miss Cage and asked, “How do you plead, Miss Cage?” Paula smiled at Judge Bill and replied without hesitation, “Not guilty, Your Honour.” A faint smile appeared on Doreen's face.

This is a good read thus far. Although there are multiple characters' stories in it, the author has connected them moderately well. Glad to read a clean story with enough drama that is not rival. You won't regret reading this one. Hooked

Thorne was awful to his wife but Storm and Michaela’s love story is so sweet and refreshing. It’s hard to find a story on this app where there isn’t constant cheating, humiliation and abuse directed towards the female lead. Thank you for your stories.

My Husband Wants An Open Marriage

My Husband Wants An Open Marriage

I sit down beside her, my fingers clenched around the handle of my bag. "You okay?" Maya asks, her voice low but steady. "Fine." I force a smile. "Just ready to get this over with." She nods, flipping through her notes. "Stay calm. Stick to the facts. We’ve got this." The courtroom doors creak open again, and a bailiff steps inside. "All rise for the Honorable Judge Harper." Everyone stands. My knees feel like jelly, but I manage to stay upright. Judge Harper, an older woman with stern eyes and silver hair pinned in a severe bun, takes her seat.

WOW! I don't know how to describe this but this story is so great! Perfect actually. It feels like I'm watching a movie with lots of scenes & emotions. The grammar, sentences & English are used perfectly. Good job author!

I started reading it because of how much I love “Craving The Wrong Brother” by the same author. Please keep it up, Elysian Sparrow!! Both of these stories are captivating with relatable characters who have intriguing but be believable complexities about them. I’m loving it so far!!!

Bound By A Dare, Rejected By The Alpha

And then, of course, my eyes catch her. His sneaky link. He actually brought her here. To court. Silence fills the room, the kind that a pin could drop and echo through the room. The heavy doors creak open, and a woman in a uniform, polished shoes, walks in. "All rise!" She's the bailiff, "The Court of the High Council is now in session, presided over by Honorable Judge Alexander Hale, chosen under the Moon's decree." Instantly, the courtroom stirs, chairs scrape, whispers die. I stand with the rest, my palms clammy, heart thudding so hard I can feel it in my throat.

Falling For My Stepbrother On Ice

Falling For My Stepbrother On Ice

It made me want to throw something at him. I felt my mother's hand tighten around mine. "Eyes forward, Mom." I murmured, and she looked away from Peter. "All rise." The bailiff called out, and everyone got to their feet as the judge entered. The judge was a tall woman who looked like she was in her sixties. She had a full head of silver hair, and reading glasses on a chain around her neck. She sat down, settled her robes and looked out at the courtroom. "Be seated." She said, and we sat.

Contract Marriage with the Disabled Billionaire

Contract Marriage with the Disabled Billionaire

We stand. My knees threaten to buckle. The judge enters, face grave but calm. A storm that has already done its damage. He sits. The courtroom stills. The foreman rises. A woman in her late fifties, with graying hair pulled into a tight bun and tired eyes behind steel-rimmed glasses. She holds a folded sheet of paper like it might burn her fingers. “Madam Foreperson,” Judge McClane says, “has the jury reached a verdict?” “We have, Your Honor.”

Dear Ex-Wife; Will You Marry Me, Again?

He pretended as if he wasn't eyeing Katerina just a second ago. The massive mahogany door clicked open, revealing the judge who was dressed in a judge's uniform. She was a woman, and she looked a little bit too serious. “All Rise as her honour, Mrs Alexandra MacDonald heads over to her table.” Katerina inhaled a tight breath when a deep voice cut through the air, commanding. Everyone present in the courtroom raised to their feets, obeying the command. The judge walked to the raised bench, placing the paper on the bench then sat on the high-backed wooden chair. When she finally settled, the entire courtroom sat down as well.

Claimed By The Lycan King

Claimed By The Lycan King

Lady Humphreys walked with calculated grace, her honey-blonde hair – so like Lola's – swept into an elegant chignon that seemed incongruous with her prison-issued clothing. Beside me, Lola went completely still. I reached for her hand without looking, finding it cold and trembling beneath my fingers. Through our touch, I felt Sierra's low growl, a vibration that never reached her human's lips. "All rise for the Honourable Judge Montague," called the court officer. We stood as the judge entered, a tall woman with iron-gray hair pulled back severely from a face lined with decades of judicial consideration. Her black robes rustled as she took her seat, gesturing for the court to be seated.

In the Grip of king Roderick

The evidence seemed compelling, and the accusers were adamant. In the kingdom's grand courtroom, with its towering pillars and ornate decorations, the trial of Lord Aric unfolded.
