I managed to push her out of the way making her land on the lawn by our neighbours house , but the driver ended up crashing into me . All I remember was getting hit and landing onto the cars screen . When the car stooped abruptly I ended up landing on the ground face up . For a moment my whole life flashed before my eyes and that included the past five years with Angelo and the kids . All I could hear was the ball bouncing. I was about to give in and surrender to what was pulling me into the darkness ; but my baby girl screaming for me to wake up brought me back to reality . “You’d be so lucky.” Suddenly, a sharp pain stabs through my abdomen, sending me flying backwards. “Ha ha ha…” the rogue’s crazed laughter echoes around. Distantly above, I could see Liam and Elena rushing to the edge of the cliff. They reached out their hands to me, but it was too late. “It might be a bumpy landing.” As we tumble through the portal, gravity hits hard. I pick up speed with no way of stopping myself. My arms and legs flail as my face hits the railing of the third floor landing, making me see stars. The impact throws me backwards, hitting my leg on the railing of the staircase. I hear the deep crack of my femur breaking. The pain is so excruciating, I can’t even howl.

It yanked me back and I screamed. “You can’t do this!” I screamed to the sky. “What does it matter what Cillian wants or Ian? Candido needs that pool. He has to wake up. He’s—” The ground seemed to vanish beneath me and I fell. The air turned cold and damp. Then, I landed on something hard. It was so hard I swore at least one of my legs was broken. Everything hurt. It was like I had been slammed into a wall of sharp hard stone, but not stabbed through.
