Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

The same energy corrupting Lira had begun infecting him too. Kael stared silently. Lira felt like she couldn’t breathe. “I did that…” The King’s voice softened. “No. Love did.” The eclipse was nearly complete now. The battlefield had become almost entirely black beneath the corrupted sky. The shadows surrounding Lira slowly began kneeling again. Waiting. The antlered creature stepped forward carefully. “The crown awaits.” Kael snarled lowly despite barely standing. “She’s not taking it.” The creature looked at him almost curiously. “You would rather die?”

Crown of Tempests

Crown of Tempests

Students from every house mingled below them. Everley witches glowed underneath layers of enchantments woven into flowing evening gowns. Groups of Hawthorne wolves crowded near the long banquet tables overflowing with food, already louder than anyone else in the room. Nerezza vampires drifted through the hall, dressed in elegant silk and sparkling jewels, eyes fixed calmly on the room around them. And then there was Aurelian. Well, one Aurelian. Nora Carver leaned against the opposite side of the room, talking with Elias, unconcerned as ever that she was the sole dragon at Obscura. Even in nice clothes, she commanded the room effortlessly, shoulders back and calm despite the stares she was p

only one crown

only one crown

Damon drifts toward center ice and stops at the logo. I follow. For a moment, we stand where the game began. Where so much between us almost ended. “Funny,” he says. “All that fighting over who gets the crown.” “And?” He looks at me fully. “There was only ever one.” The words hang there. Not competitive. Not sharp. Certain. Only one crown. And it doesn’t belong to one king. The arena lights dim slightly as the crew prepares to clean up. I feel his hand brush mine. Not by accident.

THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

He pulled himself upward as the false king tore the crown from my head. Cold rushed through me. The royal mark dimmed. The false king raised the crown. The child screamed. The sound ripped through Azure Tide. Every tower bent toward the open heart. The sea vanished. Not drained. Gone. We fell onto black stone. Raiken hit beside me. The false king landed on his feet, crown still in hand. A throne room formed around us. Columns rose from darkness, carved with serpents swallowing wolves. Red water ran through channels in the floor. At the far end stood a throne shaped from bones and black coral.

Blood Crown

Blood Crown

It was just as delicious, and once you took a sniff, you quickly became hooked and killed without realizing it. She glanced at them, a smirk stretching over her bow-shaped lips that seemed to have been colored with something bolder and darker than blood, and her eyes glittered with a predator's gleam. She watched them more like prey and pawns than her people. “All hail the Luna!” They fell to their knees and bowed until their foreheads touched the glossy black floor tiles at the thunderous and unrestrained order, hailing the powerful Luna. She watched them with thrill, and as she laughed, the esoteric and sinister sound reverberated throughout her royal chamber. After all, that was where the

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

Congratulations are in order, as well as many questions. Through the door outside, I see the loyal soldiers scouting through. I imagine they will have the entire palace secure very soon, if they haven’t secured it already. After a time, a servant walks in carrying the King’s formal crown. The servant seems confused, flanked by two loyal guards. They walk up the blood-stained silver carpet, carrying the crown all the way to the front. Caleb hops back up onto the platform. As the servant comes close enough, he reaches down, snatches the crown off the pillow it was carried in on, and drops it onto his own head.

This story is SO GOOD. It’s a great exploration of a toxic turned wholesome relationship. The main characters seem kind of one dimensional at first, but the story explores their multifaceted personalities so well and crafts a truly believable romance out of an insane premise. Could not put it down.

This is a really amazing book; I always wish the chapters were longer because it’s so hard to get tickets… but I guess that just means it’s an even better book for making it so hard to stop reading. I honestly wish It could just go on forever and the author keeps publishing chapters. Wonderful read!

Lycan King's Broken Mate: She Has A Baby?

They were the stewards of the land, entrusted with the welfare and prosperity of their people. As the ceremony reached its pinnacle, the crowns themselves were brought forth, symbols of authority and unity. Kendrick's crown was studded with precious gemstones, reflecting the strength of his rule, while the Faith's crown was adorned with delicate filigree, symbolizing her wisdom and grace. The king's crown was placed upon Kendrick's head with a regal solemnity, a weight that he accepted with a sense of duty and honor. The queen's crown followed, its gentle placement a reminder of the delicate balance she would bring to the kingdom.

In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

It seemed to shimmer with every movement, catching the light and commanding attention. But what caught my eye the most was the golden crown adorning his head. It was a sight to behold—a symbol of his authority and status as the ruler of Arodona. The crown was studded with glistening gemstones, each one capturing the light and casting a radiant glow. Its intricate design spoke of craftsmanship and regality, leaving no doubt that this man was indeed the king. The crown sat atop his head, perfectly balanced, and accentuated his noble features. It added an undeniable aura of power and responsibility to his presence. I couldn't help but be captivated by the way he carried himself, his every movem

he whispered, pupils blown wide, “he’s done it.” Koa, meditating in the sparring yard, gasped as the ground itself hummed. His wolf dropped to its belly, whimpering with reverence. For the first time in years, Koa’s stoic mask fractured, his eyes burning gold. “The bond is complete,” he muttered, voice raw. “The Crownless has been crowned… not with metal, but with blood and flame.”
