I don't like anything that has to do with romance especially the cliche movies. Almost everyone was dancing to the song ; some men with their wives or other random people. I was dancing with a stranger that couldn't keep his hands from wandering further down to my backside. "So what's your name gorgeous?", he said into my ear as my eyes caught Devin who gave me a thumbs up. I groaned deeply before shaking my head disapprovingly. "Its vanessa", I replied with no emotion as I continued to move slowly towards the beat of the music.

I tried to find the restroom because I should really use the toilet. There were lots of hormonal teenagers and youths blocking the way. I had to push my way past. When I finally found the restroom, I was out of breath. A drunk man was staggering when I walked in. I ignored him and carried out my business. When I came out, he was already puking on the floor. The music was still loud, vibrating through the dance floor as we joined. I started dancing, moving and swaying to the rhythm. He hesitated for a moment, watching me before he finally joined in. He was a good dancer, his movements were smooth and confident. We danced close to each other, our bodies rubbing against each other as we swayed to the rhythm. The stranger placed his hand on my waist and I didn't stop him. His beautiful green eyes stared into mine and for a moment it was like everything in the room faded. “You still don't remember me?” He asked, leaning close to my ear.

Jennifer gulped down another glass, as she stared at the man offering her his treat, her sight had began to get a bit blurry, she couldn't grasp the face of the young man, but the way he talked and laughed annoyed her to the core. Just then the other guy pulled her up. "Come'on dance with me atleast, ignore that jerk. I'll satisfy you in ways you can't imagine." He protested, persistent as he dragged her from the stool to her feet. As Jennifer struggled to free herself from the grip of this stranger, the other guy stood behind and laughed in satisfaction.

I handed it back to him without looking at him. “There,” I said, trying to sound indifferent, as if this was just another regular moment in my day. “I’ll call you,” he promised, his smile almost mischievous as I turned to leave. “And I’m Evan by the way” he called out,But I didn’t feel like I was walking away from a stranger anymore.
