I extended my hands, feeling the invisible archway and its engraving as I cried out and looked behind me, hearing the dogs howl and bark following my scent. "PLEASE." I cried out just as the archway was activated, its glowing light opening to allow me in. Just as I began to enter the doorway, I felt the stinging sensation of an arrow ripping into my shoulder, tearing its flesh before finding its stopping point. What they see makes them pause, disbelief seizing their faces. Oto, the large, dark-furred wolf, growls fiercely at the Major Archon. His eyes gleam with a wild, defiant light. His jaws are open, displaying his sharp fangs in a clear sign of rejection. The Major Archon attempts to connect with him, but Oto resists. His growl intensifies, a sound that reverberates in the air, full of challenge and defiance.

“There are a lot of possibilities that we can’t ignore as his parents. Of course, his exotic pets are a different story since most of them are just inside a tank or an aquarium. Removing the dog carrier from the living room closet, I spied Draco, my jet-black two-year-old pug slinking off of his spot on the couch, sneaking away to go hide under my bed, catching sight of the carrier. I forced myself to breathe, trying to focus on my beautiful surroundings rather than the pool at my back. After a few minutes of walking, Olezka announced, “My favourite part.” I looked up to find several dogs in all shapes and sizes, different breeds, in several pens. Some of them were barking, their eyes trained on Olezka. But there was one large dog, a beautiful black german shepherd, who barely glanced at us before going back to resting his head on his paws like he couldn’t be bothered. “That’s Ark,” Olezka said, his voice full of pride and hidden adoration. “He’s one of the most loyal dogs we have. I had ruined the quiet sanctuary he offered me, and now he was punishing me with his absence. Driven by a desperate need to fix things, I walked down the grand staircase toward the front entrance. Poor but less dirty than the people in the districts. The door opens and a dog runs out first,jumping at Corven. He kneels and laughs,scratching. I’m not sure what to do. I have seen a dog only once. Don’t judge me! “Archy! There,boy. I’ve missed you too.” He says to the dog as a woman who looks to be in her late fifties steps out. “Corve! Oh my! You didn't tell me you were coming to visit.
