Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

“Sorry, it’s running through my blood. I can’t help it. Besides, your bullies beat me up, and here you are sitting around. I shouldn’t be in your shoes if you didn’t perform a stupid ritual, to begin with.” Here we go again with the blame game. “How did you know it was me? When you called me, you sounded so sure that it was me who made a mistake.” “Because they trained me not to commit mistakes during missions. Every move must be precise. I can’t blame anyone aside from you.” I sighed. “Of course. I am to blame.” I lowered my head and stared blankly at the floor. “It really sucks to be your partner,” I whispered, but enough for him to hear.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

Thanks for Playing, I'm Quitting This Game

She threw herself toward the wall and screamed, "It's all my fault! I never should've touched your things! I might as well die!" Hunter grabbed her at once. Gabriel also rushed over to support her. The two of them stood on either side, shielding her between them. Hunter turned back to look at me, his eyes ice-cold. "Apologize." I thought I had misheard him. "What did you say?" "Apologize to her," he said, each word clear and deliberate. "She's already falling apart. How much further are you going to push her?" I looked at him in disbelief. "Hunter, she lost my mother's keepsake."

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

“Maria. This is *my* fault—my glitch—” “This is the Game’s fault,” he growled. “It made the rules. It pulled the names.” “It glitched *because of me,*” I said. “You saw the randomizer—” “Cause and blame are not the same thing,” he said and shook me once, not gently. His fingers slid along my jaw, forcing my head up, so I had to look at him for a heartbeat. “You tugged a thread. It chose cruelty. That’s on *it.*”

The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge

The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge

“Kayla what the hell is your problem? How would you blame yourself for your cheating husband?” I raised my head to look at how when I heard the question she asked, “I don't blame myself because he cheated, I blame myself because I loved him so much that I didn't suspect anything. There were so many signs that I constantly neglected every single sign because I had it in my head that you will never try such a thing but look at it now.”

Damien's Willing Captive

Damien's Willing Captive

“You ungrateful son of a bitch!” Carlos tried the practiced bluff of a man who’d always bought his way out of storms. “You don't have the right to blame me. Maybe if my wife wasn’t always gallivanting on those tea-party trips, this wouldn't have happened.” He paused to take a long breath and continue. “Maybe if she makes time to satisfy her husband's needs…” he started again, the old coward’s script, the one that places blame like a coin into the slot of an excuse. “Are you blaming me?” She cut, venom and disbelief braided together. “So now it’s my fault you’re a cheat? You’ll blame the roses next, will you?” She spit the words, perfect and brittle, while her face folded into a map of fury.

The fact that they grew so big angered a lot of people. "I just wanted him to live. I wanted him to take a break from work and live a little. How was i supposed to know we would run Into your enemies?!" I was angry now. I wouldn't let him play the blame game anymore. I understood him, blaming me for it made him feel less guilty and maybe he had ended up believing I was actually at fault.

The Billionaire's Runaway Ex-Wife

The Billionaire's Runaway Ex-Wife

"Last night, when Estelle left for her parents’ house, Abella went to see her. I heard Abella spent the night with Estelle, just being there for her." Sia didn't know what to say. Her face was filled of guilt and sadness. She had caused so much harm, and even though it was an accident, she couldn’t shake the guilt of it. "I know Leon might have said the same thing to you over and over again," Charlotte said softly, "but I want to tell you as well—please don’t hurt yourself by blaming yourself." She paused, making sure her words landed. "You might think it’s your fault because you hit the ball. But if we look at it that way, we are all at fault. We were all playing there, and you were just a

The Alpha's King Rejected Mate

The Alpha's King Rejected Mate

They tell us to do whatever they say and then blame us for it later. I hated it! Every bit of it. “Yet here you are, still a failure, exactly how I assumed you would be” That voice mimicked Father's voice perfectly and it made me want to lose my mind. “Shut up!”I yelled at it, hoping that it would shut the hell up.“No,” it said, its voice even higher pitched than before, “That is not your decision to make."It continued "So, instead of blaming yourself, you should focus on blaming yourself and leave the truth and you can't even find a solution for your problem."
