I turned towards my father hesitantly, biting my lip. "Dad... I don't want to get married yet. Not until the baby comes." I stated, looking up at him shyly. He smiled brightly and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "That's perfectly fine with me dear. You deserve to live your life without worrying about anyone's opinion on whether you're ready to marry someone. Besides, you already know that they wouldn't be able to make you happy anyway." He explained. I gave a weak smile and nodded, leaning my head against his chest as he held me close to his chest. After a few minutes, he released me from his grip and looked towards the clock on the wall, noticing that it had gotten late.
