Chapter 6 Scarlett POV On our drive back to the packhouse, I mind link Cayden to let him know that I’m on my way back and that Raul will be staying the night so that he can also meet with Bruno and my parents in the morning. I then mind link Aurora, the pack’s Head Omega, to let her know that Raul will be spending the night and to please make up a room for him on the Alpha floor. I know good and damn well that Raul will be sleeping in my suite with me—and frankly, Aurora probably knows it, too—but this way we can at least make it look that everything is platonic.

I was so lost in the sensations that I was feeling I’d failed to notice that the group had ended their reunion and turned to us. “Sera?” I only regained my senses after Max called out to me. A flush of heat crept up to my cheeks as I looked up to find four pairs of eyes watching us curiously. Draco was unfazed by the situation and reached out his hand, offering a handshake to Max. “Hi, I’m Draco Macer, Alpha of the Silva Moon Pack and Sera’s second-chance mate. Nice to meet you, Max,” Draco said, sounding so confident and imposing.
