Dragonborn X Serana Novels & Stories

“It is to me.” She folded her arms. “What matters is that I know who you are now, and I know exactly what you’re doing.” “I am trying to find my daughter.” “You’re trying to get Damon back.” I stared at her. “No.” Her eyes narrowed. “You expect me to believe that?” “I don’t care what you believe.” That seemed to anger her. “You disappeared for five years, Sera. Damon spent those years rebuilding his life. He has a future, a family, a position, and an engagement.”

Kaelin tried next (arrow of pure winterbloom straight at his heart). It melted mid-air. Rhea threw a vial of dragon’s blood (last one in the kingdom). Caedrin caught it, drank it, and smiled with teeth made of starlight. “Your resistance is delicious,” he purred. “But the harvest is almost complete. In moments I will wear their bond like a crown, and every wolf on this continent will kneel or burn.” Serna spat blood, pushed up on shaking arms. “You forgot one thing, you ancient prick.”

The sizzling sound and steam emanating from its wing explained the sound of pain. The acid had singed its wings. "Ramon!" I screamed. The dragon's eyes softened at me. It then lifted its wing from my view and hissed and glared at the viper. The viper slithered towards us, its eyes narrowing to slits. The dragon planted a foot back, and its mouth parted, revealing the orange light from within. "Oh boy." I backed away. The dragon roared, and the biggest fireball I had ever seen shot out of its mouth, striking the incoming serpent. The serpent's loud hiss as it was treated to a roasting session was all I heard, and it became still. In mere seconds, it was reduced to bones.

“DANTE, COME HERE!” Dante barely dodged Ronan’s attack and sprinted toward Ryker, who had shifted his dark magic back to himself. Ryker rushed toward Seraphina, eyes gleaming with murderous intent. She swiftly dodged, locking eyes with Ronan for a brief moment as she evaded Ryker’s advancing power. Dante, moving at lightning speed, sought to merge back into Ryker’s form, knowing he stood no chance against Ronan’s raw power without the dark magic. However, before Dante could reach Ryker, Ronan grabbed him by the hair and slammed his head into the ground. Dante’s scream echoed through the air, a haunting sound amidst the cries of the burning spirits.

“Where are we going? Wait, by we, do you mean Sera and us?” I paused. Neimad growled in approval. “We better take her away from these horny dudes, I would hurt them so bad next time if they touch her hair.” Neimad receded inside of me, I felt his sink into a corner as I got back full control of my senses. I noticed Daniel was holding back from pouncing on David. “Shut up, David… Damien cannot hurt Sera… beast or not,” Daniel said. Is that so? I can’t hurt Sera even as a beast? I thought. I felt the storm raging inside of me settle. Should I stay to find out? No I can’t.

But Serena resisted, clinging to her defenses, unwilling to let him into the fragile parts of herself. Darius, sensing her inner turmoil, never pushed. He respected her silence, offering her the space she needed. But even he couldn’t deny the growing bond between them, a connection that seemed to defy reason. His wolf sensed it too, an instinctual pull that made his heart race whenever he was near her. He knew, deep down, that they were fated mates—a bond woven by forces beyond their understanding. But he also knew that Serena was not ready to accept it, and he refused to force the truth upon her.

And then I fall, inward and the next thing I know, I'm standing in black water up to my ankles. The world here is shadow and starlight, a place between planes. A heartbeat away from eternity. And he’s here. Raelor. He doesn’t look like a monster. He looks beautiful. Familiar. Golden hair, green eyes, like a dream I forgot I once had. His smile is kind. His voice gentler now. “I could make them pay. All of them. For hurting you. For underestimating you. For betraying you.” He tilts his head. “You deserve more, Serena. You deserve everything.”

Among the Six, he's the only one who doesn't seem uptight like the rest of them. For the rest of my stay in the hospital, I keep receiving visits from Landon and Dakota's family as well. I have gathered information about my mission. Apparently, I am to find the seals. Moreso, I can only do that if I stick to a particular person who bears the name, Dashiell Gryphon. According to Landon, he's a dragon Lord who wants to use the seals for evil purposes. To worsen it all, he's the jerk who had murdered me. I'm willing to do my best. ..

Then she looked away. Of all mornings she has decided to become shy. It makes me wonder if she experienced the same dream. If so, what could it mean? There is only one place I know of where I can get the answers. The ship that brought my four brothers and me. I will need to research the database and find the answers to mating between dragons. Our parents before they died were vague about things. But the ship has everything on it about our world of Drakkon and our mating customs. One thing though I will have to wait when I know Alana is safe. I may go tonight as she sleeps, I will fly to where we hid the ship and find out.
