She didn’t want to think about what he was, but Emma wanted to walk into dreams and control magic. Emma had seen village elders use magic but had none of her own. Daniel wanted to surprise Emma that night. With a snap of his fingers he brought the door out, and he snuck into one of her dreams, but when he opened the door, he found the small village was quiet. He heard the roar of a blaze, it didn’t take him long to figure out what he was looking for. Daniel could smell the smoke as he ran. “Emma!” he screamed not caring what a noise he made or who might see him.

Kris laid in bed, eyes wide, staring at the ceiling. She never experienced that type of dream before. It felt so real. Reaching mindlessly to the nightstand, she grabbed her vape, taking a long drag and holding it in. She exhaled, letting her shoulders drop and her eyes close. She thought about the events as they played out in her dream. She was giving a tattoo. It was a beautiful design she made specifically for Elena. They kept locking eyes, making it too hard for her to concentrate.

The pictures were back to normal now, with Blue beside me; the selfie that we'd taken, the wedding photo and a few more. Looked like sorcery to me. "You know, Blue. Sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming all this. Imagine, if I was standing here, talking to myself with no one sitting where you're right now. What if you really are a dream? Part of my fantasy?"
