Novel & Cerita Early Chapter Books

We had a lot of fun playing with his toys or reading books for kids. What is more, I also liked reading. Luna Patricia has explained to me about her books, giving me the specific order to read them so that I can fully understand their context. Her writing style was unique, making you want to read every book at once. And the fact that all these stories weren’t fiction, but the reality was making me even more excited. FLASHBACK “So, you start with this one.” mom said, giving me a book. I took it and read its title: ‘Early Stages of a Werewolf: Shifting.’

Several Weeks Later Jasper slowly eased his body onto its side. Mimicking sleep, he intently listened to the conversation between a young woman named, Cora, and the old nurse he’d heard called both Bess and Smithfield. He’d assumed that her true name was Elizabeth Smithfield with Bess being the nick name for Elizabeth, but names were funny things. He’d noticed the increasing pattern of nick names or abbreviated names being given to children at birth by parents wanting to be different. Therefore, he could have been incorrect on that assumption.

“One out of three.” Fuck. I let my eyes skim over the first page and go through the basic introduction to the content of the book. My love for anything on paper kicks in soon enough and I let myself get drawn into the pages. The book provides information starting from the beginning of a certain year and goes on detailing the events that took place in that year and the next ten before beginning the next chapter. I read of powerless Kings and magical queens. Political upheavals and the line of Ashryn the Great.

I slam my door in response. Once I’m in bed, I finally open the math book. My eyes land again on the first page: Jace Adkins. My finger hovers over the number, but then I slap myself and actually start reading. Turns out, everything’s explained much more clearly in the teacher’s version. Maybe I could get Mason to snag me a copy. I make it through the first 100 pages—enough to grasp the basics of the numbers. Talking about numbers.. The book opens at the first page all by itself. Biting my lip in doubt, I grab my phone and contemplate a lot of things.

Each shelf was marked with the type of book it contained. "Kayla should take magic and spells," I said, guiding her to the correct section. She ran her finger down the dusty spines, pausing at a heavy book titled "The History of Elementals." She pulled the massive cream leather book off the shelf and settled in the corner, crossing her legs and resting the book on her lap. She turned the yellowed pages, running her finger over the black embossed words.

The head master nodded and headed to tribune beginning his lecture. “Let us begin our lesson with the war 100 year ago,” the headmaster flicked his hand and books started to appear in our table. ‘Along with the Gods’ was written in the book cover. “In your hands now is the book that we will be using as reference for today’s lesson. Kindly open it to the fourth page, young wizlings.” The shuffling of the book pages can be heard throughout the lecture hall and the headmaster started his speech again.

She had never taught kids this young, but it wasn't hard. Nicole flipped through the books and started simple. Numbers first. One, two, three… All the way to ten, then eleven through twenty. Not just writing, but patterns, too. Poppy caught on fast. She had never gone to school, but she had picked things up from TV and daily life. At her age, it didn't take much. She sat there quietly, working through it. Zeph had prepared well. There was a pencil case with everything she needed: pencils, erasers, all of it.
