English Speaking Book Novels & Stories

It's not just perfect but it's perfect, perfect, perfect. Well, you get the gist. I'm not gonna repeat every word thrice, bless my fingers because the temperature is so low even the leather gloves I'm wearing right now don't really help. I'm freezing. Frosting. Urgh, again the struggle with the use of correct words. Have I told you how much I hate it here? One, I need to speak English ALL the time. I'm good with writing but I suck at communicating in this language. I miss my Jakarta so bad, where I can explain stuff at the office either with my broken English or just using the Indonesian language since everybody speaks it.

Luckily, I'm very good at English. “How good are you now in English, Miss Annika?” I ask in English and she chuckles before replying. “A little be—better, miss Milana.” She replies and I laugh, picking up the book which I begin to flip through. “You're doing so well, Annika,” I tell her as she's quite fluent for her age. With time she would be perfect in English. I spend some time going through the book and I ask her to pronounce a few words for me from time to time.

It suddenly felt so hard to go for an interview. I have never gone for one before. What if they ask me to speak other languages? Hmm…if they ask for that, I'd just speak English with a British accent. That was all I knew. I took my resume and went through it the third time. My talent was reading and my best book is 'Wrath of the Nation' by Adam Smith. It was my best book but I had no idea what was written in it. I didn't even have the book, neither have I seen it before.

Laura just found it funny, why does she like it like that? Speak English in front of her? The echoes entering his head made him felt a bit unsteady. For countless times, his body seemed to have weakened again. Elijah, I know he's not very good at normal language, but whenever we talk, that's mostly what he uses. He only speaks English when his emotions are involved or it is more correct to say that he is getting emotional.
